LEGO Indiana Jones
I love it!
I love this game! This game is much better than I thought. We just got a Wii and my parents let me pick out a game and I chose this one. It is a fun and addicting game that you can't put down. Some levels get tricky. This game has great graphics and cool characters. There are also Studs which is money like from Lego Star Wars. When crossing a bridge or jumping from platform to platform usually gets tricky because it sets you at a weird angle on things like that. The characters you can be in for freeplay are not the coolest so you want to be either Indiana Jones, the character you created, or the grail knight who you must purchase. Over all this game is pretty cool. There are new purple studs which are worth 10,000 studs. Each level takes you about 40 minutes to an hour to complete. I started with The Last Crusade because that is the easiest level then Temple Of Doom and last Raiders of the Lost ark. I wish they would have added the new movie.
THIS GAME IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I was a bit skeptical when I bought this. Now that I did, I play it every moment of free time that I have. It perfectly combines the Indy aspect of adventure with the building aspect of the LEGOS. This perfectly compliments any system you could play on, especially the Nintendo Wii. I love every single piece of the game, but mostly the videos at the beginning and the end of the chapters. They are even in LEGO! I am truly shocked at how well this game was laid out. You will thoroughly love this game from beginning to end. It never gets boring, even during the videos. The idea of the chapters separates the sections better than some of the other LEGO games. I also like the idea of the switching between characters. The boss battles are confusing at first, but once you figure it out, you "V8" commercial yourself and go DUH! Over all, I love this game. I give it ten stars out of ten.
Lego Indaina Jones is very fun the story line is funny with little twists to the Indiana Jones movies that add lots of laughs Lego Indy is quite challenging its puzzles range from whipping across chasms to pulling levers to jumping across sensitive platforms and thats just the biggining Th Graphics are cool but not the best the sprawling levels are very pretty this game is quite long each level can range from 20 minutes to 40 in story mode then go back through with free play mode which you take the Characters you unlock to get treasures to build artifacts and packages to ship back for bonus extras which you buy with lego studs you collect on each level you can collect enough to get true Adventure for that level for Extra money The Controlls are simple and easy to get used to gunshots music punching all mix in almost perfectly this game is quite fun challenging funny Lego Indiana Jones is one good game
This is the second Lego game I have played, and it's great. If you enjoy adventure, and love legos, you will love this game. It can be a little weird and complicated, but it's really fun. You have to play as two charaters to complete puzzles and adventures, but that just creates a bit of a fun challenge. You get to destroy legos, build them, and create machines in this game. It's perfect for little kids, but if you are an older lego -lover, then you should get this game. It's perfect for you.
Simple Game, Great Adventure
I've found that Lego Indiana Jones is a very compelling game. The overall mechanics of it are fairly simple and easy to master but figuring out and how best to apply the mechanics is fun and challenging. The story also hangs together well and overall it is very enjoyable to view a movie favorite in a new way. I personally enjoy crawling through each level multiple times to find all the secrets.
Looks better then lego star wars
This game looks cool, you can use Indainas whip to change outfits and you can interact with the invorment in whole new ways. With the funny cutscenes this looks to be the Indy we all have learned to love.
Best Lego game
Lego Indiana Jones is in my opinion the best lego game ever although I haven't played all of them. Tons of characters like other lego games and plenty of fun action packed levels which are based off the first three movies. There is a good variety of weapons fists, rifles, pistols, bazookas, whips, machine guns and lots of others. The vehicles are Cars, Jeeps, Planes, Tanks and Horses. Also the Boss levels are like all other lego games the bosses have like ten hearts and sometimes you have to do something other then punch them to beat them. All the levels require you to do a little thinking esp if you want to get all the treasure chests. Overall I would recommend this game.
The music, whip sounds, and punches are just like the movies. I would suggest, that any Indy fan should get this, it's really fun, it is so fun that I played it twice and 100% the game the second time, while it was just as fun the both times.
LucasArts + Lego = Terrific Indiana Jones Journey
The original Indiana Jones trilogy has been converted into the Lego style tongue-in-cheek humor we've seen with their previous Star Wars releases. Each of the Indy movies has been converted into specific chapters that you must complete before you can go on to the next chapter. As in the Lego Star Wars, once you complete a chapter, you can go back and do Free Play - where you can use any unlocked character. This is necessary to access areas which you could not unlock when you played the chapter the first time. And each chapter is challenging;many puzzles to figure out and different areas to access (so you can claim Treasure Chests). All the famous scenes from the movies are present, like the one in Raiders of the Lost Ark where Indy confronts the man with the curved sword - and Indy pulls out his gun and shoots him. Since Indy doesn't carry a gun, only his whip, most of his fighting and getting through difficult places is by use of the whip. He can crack it to kill of enemies, He can use it to swing across pits and he can even use to grab a person, swing them into him so he can kiss them. He can do that with many people, even with some of the mountain guards up by Marion's place. Seems like this Indy can swing his whip both ways. I must admit that I did have difficulty with some of the puzzles - so I wonder what a young child would do with them. The rating for this game is for age 10 and over, but face it, many parents by it without checking the ratings. For children younger then 10, Mom and Pop will definitely have to help the kids as a few puzzles are intricate and demand quite a number of moves before they can be completely solved. But in true Lego fashion, if you make a mistake, the item magically reappears and you can try, try again. As in the movies, Barnett College is the central point - the place where you bring back your goodies, where you get your assignments, where you can look at the maps of your travels and decide where you want to go and if you've already completed a segment, you can choose to redo that particular segment in Freeplay mode. Overall, Lucas Arts and Lego has made another hit. Indiana Jones will be another classic in their catalog of games. And as such, I can't wait until the next LEGO Release - BATMAN - which is previewed on this disc.
Pretty Cool, But wait for the Sequel.
as in my title, this is an awesome game, but wait for the sequel that they announced. they say it's a "remake" although i can't see what they could have possibly done wrong with this. it's an awesome game. the controls are easy to learn, and you can get started in <5 minutes. It goes through the storyline of all 3 movies, but you can take them in any order you like. cinematics are better than lego star wars, and funny. it's almost a puzzle game, with many challenges. every character has a different sort from "Thuggie" to "Short" to "Indiana Jones". Character Customization is easy and fun. the only thing it's missing is kindom of the crystal skull, but that'll be included, plus the first 3 in LIJ2. so this is a fun game, but only rent it now because the sequel ships this november.
