Jumpstart: Get Moving featuring Brooke Burke
Fun game for family
Recently purchased Get Moving as a graduation present for my 7 year old. With 2 other children ages 5 and 10 that play the Wii as well I wanted something that they could all do together. My kids have really enjoyed this game for a number of reasons: 1. The ability to control and change not only their character, but the location they are playing in. 2. The activities and games are both challenging and get them active. 3. They enjoy the ability to compete against each other in the game. 4. The re-playability level is high. They have played every day since I brought the game home and aren't bored with the game. In fact it has become a personal competition between my older two to see who can earn the highest scores. I like the fact that they are able to play together and the settings in the game make it easy for all of them to play at different levels. With all the choices out there, I don't think you can go wrong with this game for the entire family, especially if you have kids in my age range.
Not made for kids
We bought this game four our 4 year old and 3 year old. The controls for this were way to difficult. We were really dissappointed as we were looking for something active for our kids to do on the Wii. We ended up returning this game. If you are looking for a game that will get your kids active, I would recommend Nickelodean Fit. The controls are much simpler in addition that it uses characters that most kids are familiar with.
