A huge disappointment!
This game was not fun at all! They didn't take full advantage of the wii controls when they made this game. It's very boring and frustrating and all you get to do is point at stuff and click on it. I love cooking games and I love the tv show and Gordon Ramsay so I was excited to buy this game for the wii and it was pretty hard to find so when I found it was so happy. Until I got home and played the game I was very disappointed. I can't say one good thing about this game. If you are into cooking games there are a lot better ones for the wii than this one.
A good one to rent.
Overall, I enjoyed this game for a few days. I usually enjoy cooking strategy games, but I was looking for a little more with this one. The Wii remote is used to pick up and move the food or simply clicking on items. I didn't see the point in having this game for the Wii, it is a good game for PC or other platforms. I would have liked to chop and stir food with the remote. Each stage did get more difficult in the career mode, which made this interesting. I wanted to beat the game. But, once I finished career mode there really wasn't any point to keep this game. I had gotten bored with it by then. The game was very accurate to the TV show as far as yelling and slight profanity. The words are bleeped out, but you know what he is saying! As I said before, this is a great game to rent but does not have the storyline or enough interactive play to make this one a keeper.
Looks pretty good
This game might not be the best for the Wii but it won't disappoint too badly. Hopefully. I am actually looking forward to it a lot. It will probably be borderline on great and just good. Hell's Kitchen is an amazing show and it will be interesting to see how the game measures up to the expectations. Graphics should be decent for the Wii at least. Looking forward to this game.
