Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick game if you have the time Overall I'd say that this game is relatively good, one problem, though, If you have time on your hands, you will finish this game much faster than you want to. I've been playing the Harvest Moon games for quite some time, and this is by far one of my favorites. The time it takes for an in-game day to pass I feel is just right, the variety of things you can do is cool, and the characters you meet are fun. I finished the main story line of this game in about four days when I was sick (so think about 9 hours a day) and I was pretty bummed how there was nothing really left to do in the game besides pop out a kid and expand a bunch of stuff. Another thing that bugged me was the noises that the character you're playing as makes. Things like "there there" every time you pet an animal gets pretty annoying pretty fast, but hey it could be worse. There are also a few places in the game where everything not necessarily glitches but lags (eg. your character walking slow when they're in a certain area of town, then again it may have just been something in my game) Overall- If you're looking for casual game, whether you're new to the harvest moon series or not, I would highly recommend this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One of my Favorite Games Ever! My friend introduced me to this game a few years ago and now it is one of my favorite Wii games! This was my first Harvest Moon game and now I am hooked on the series. I have Boy and Girl for the PSP and I am about to buy Animal Parade for the Wii. This game has a great lasting appeal- I still play it after a year or two. As for the gameplay, I think it is awesome. The main storyline is perfectly sized- not too long so that you get bored, but not too short so you finish it in a day. It is impossible to beat the game in even a month but the fun of it keeps you going. There are a few side quests like getting married, having a child, and getting more/better animals. These are also enjoyable. I did find it helpful to look up a guide for the game, not because it was too difficult, but because I like to finish things completely(like catching every single fish or cooking every recipe). Be careful though- the guides do contain spoilers that can ruin the surprises like telling you what will happen in a romantic cutscene. The minigames that this game has are pretty pointless and I do not play them anymore. I don't understand why they were put in the game. Thankfully, they are not necessary. Overall though, I would recommend this game to virtually anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Innovative Even though I like Animal Parade a lot better because your family can be greatly expanded, there are more marriage candidates, and I feel it's also easier to finish the game (kind of), I still like ToT. However, after I got married, I kind of stopped playing because I felt like it was too hard to beat. But the one great thing about this game is the SETTING! I love how you can pick where your farm is and the town is gorgeous. I find it was prettier than AP's setting. It's just beautiful--oh my gosh. They worked really well. And the graphics were definitely different. Most HM games have similar animation but this time they changed everything. Some might think it's "ugly" but I liked it after it took some getting used to. I recommend this game for anyone who has the dedication. But if it gets too hard for you, like it was for me, then I'd go for Animal Parade. Besides, Animal Parade has some better features.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Harvest Moon: Tree of tranquility My wife and I have found Tree of tranquility to be fun and long lasting. A farmvill lovers next game. We love the story of the game. After playing the other harvest moon games, tree of tranquility tops them all. The game is hard to come by on the market, but the search is well worth it. Our over-all rateing is a 9.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fun at first.. When I got this game and started playing it, it was REALLY FUN. For the first few days(in the game) it was fun but started to get boring. One thing is when they say you have part time work, you don't actually do anything. But when you first stay at the farm(for the time being cuz your house is being built) you actually do something. After that, you pretty much just walk around town and that's all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing!!! Seriously, my friend and I used to complain all the time about how A Wonderful Life was our favorite and that we miss the old Harvest Moon games. Then this wonderful game came out and took my breath away! I love it so much and I would play it over and over. I have beaten it numerous times and I never ge tired of it! I really love the characters in it and unlike previous Harvest Moon games...this one actually has characters with personality. Nobody's really all that plain at all. I hope Natsume and Marvelous Entertainment continue with improving!
