Discover the real Hogwarts. Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts is shaping up to be his most dangerous yet. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about the return of Voldemort in order to undermine his power, Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's ministry-approved course leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared, so Hermione, Ron and Harry form "Dumbledore's Army" with the goal of preparing themselves and other courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that looms against Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

  • Relive the Magic of the Movie - ...from the Dementor attack in Little Whinging to the epic battles at the Ministry of Magic.

    1. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only for dies This game is only for DIE harry potter fans! It might be worth the money. But GameStop just has to make it a lower price after I purchase it. The design of hogwarts is incredible. But gameplay is fair, the lasting appeal is great. Graphics are okay, but goblet of fire has better graphics than this. My score is a 4/10.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long but fun HP game Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix is ultimately one of the best games I have ever played. As you try to find DA (Dumbledore's Army) members you also have to learn how to stop Voldermort from entering your mind. Though spells are not used much in this game, that does not make it a bad game, necessarily. Harry has to find his way through Hogwarts and its grounds to find DA members and recruit them. This is the hard part about the game. Finding the members is a huge task. You have to use the staircases and paintings to find them and you even have to find secret passageways. Because of the DA member recruiting challenge, this game will take you a very long time to complete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Good Game I just got this game for Christmas, and I think it's pretty good. There are mor pros than cons, but nontheless, there are cons. Let me start with the pros first. You get to walk around Hogwarts on your own. You have he maurader's map in this one, so if you want to find something, you can use it and it will literally lead you right to it with footsteps in front of you. If you need help, you can always talk to Ron of Hermione to help you out. You can also talk to other random students in the halls. The graphics are excellent. You really get great detail on everything. And, a part that really amused me was you can actually use the changing staircases as you wish in the sense that you can wait for them to change and go on whichever ones you want. I though that was really neat. Now, for the cons. The spells are sometimes hard to do, because the game may not read them instantly. Also, do not listen to what they tell you to do. It's miss leading. Do what the little remote does, and you'll be fine. Another con about the spells is that some of the challenges you have to do a lot of times such as in the beginning repairing shelves, lighting lamps, setting plants on fire, and it can get to be really repetetive and boring. The spell-casting is fun, though. The Wii Remote is your wand, so that's kinda neat. Overall, the game is really fun if you are a Harry Potter fan. At times it can be a bit boring and repetetive, but it follows the storyline well, and has a pretty good storyline at that. It's also pretty fun to venture the castle "on your own" (meaning your friends are always with you). I did forget to metion that spell casting can get frusterating to work with the camera angle. Sometimes the angle doesn't let you cast a spell. Overall, I would reccomend this game. It's entertaining, and gives you something to do. It's great for any Harry Potter fan out there!
