Good But Could Be Better
I am obsessed with Harry Potter, so I was really excited when I bought this game. The graphics are pretty good, and the voice acting is almost perfect besides Hermionie who obviously had a voice over. The sound is okay, hearing the spells shoot out and Ron wailing in the background. The gameplay is 99% similar to a shooter game, Expulso being like an automatic gun, Confringo like an RPG, etc. You can also duck into cover sorta like a shooter. To me, this game was sort of easy to beat, I beat the game in less than 3 days. Also, some parts were missing in the game compared with the movie, such as Ron leaving in the middle of the woods then a tent, etc. Also there was also an added part where in the book you find Dean Thomas talking with Griphook that was added in the game, which was kinda nice. I would've given this game a 10 if the game was similar to the book and a little more challenging. Overall, Deathly Hallows Part 1 is a game that could be better but great for die hard HP fans.

For Die-Hard HP fans...
I was extremely excited for this game. The graphics looked amazing, the gameplay looked good, and the action was superb, It looked as though EA had gotten HP out of its rut (Harry Potter 5: and the Endless Hallways). Little did I know that the Wii version wasn't going to be like other console versions. The graphics were still pretty good (for a Wii game), the gameplay was.... ok, and the action was interesting. Instead of your wand, you have Harry using his repeat action spell rifle to take-down enemies. The controls weren't all that great, being that to look in a different direction, you had to tilt the remote a certain way, and then the game seemed as if it was really meant for Die-hard HP fans. Now I'm not saying other people won't like it, but you really have to love Harry a lot to be able to tolerate the controls and spell-rifle action. My family couldn't stand to play it, let alone watch me play it. The game itself is somewhat short. It didn't take me long, even with short times when I was stuck in a corner of the Ministry of Magic, or trying to get past the snatchers. I think it waz a good try, but it could've been better.

This game is fun and long but super hard i could not beat it but it is fun you go to the ministry and lovegoods house plus godrics hallows so it is great.

pretty good
The game is good, the storyline is great, but the controls are screwed up. You have to move the wii remote to turn around, which is kind of annoying.

Best game ever!
I am a hardcore Harry Potter fan so this really brought my understanding to life. It sounded real, looked as real as you could get a game, and the intensity and gameplay was just flat out awesome! I would recommend this game to anyone, even if they weren't a Harry Potter fan. I know I'm not the only two thumbs up! Have fun!

This game is the best HP game ever!!!
I got this game for my son (he's a HP fan) and he loved it the second he got the game!!! My son is 10 1-2. My son said "I love this game!!!" The most common spell you would use would be Stupefy. You have Protego that makes a shield out of your wand and it protects you from enemies' spells. The invinsibility cloak is very useful!!! My son can't wait till HP and TDH Part 2 for Wii!!! I have no reason why these other people of the world say this game isn't fun.

I am a big harry potter fan and love this game. The only thing that would make it better is unforgivable curses.
