I am obsessed with Harry Potter, so I was really excited when I bought this game. The graphics are pretty good, and the voice acting is almost perfect besides Hermionie who obviously had a voice over. The sound is okay, hearing the spells shoot out and Ron wailing in the background. The gameplay is 99% similar to a shooter game, Expulso being like an automatic gun, Confringo like an RPG, etc. You can also duck into cover sorta like a shooter. To me, this game was sort of easy to beat, I beat the game in less than 3 days. Also, some parts were missing in the game compared with the movie, such as Ron leaving in the middle of the woods then a tent, etc. Also there was also an added part where in the book you find Dean Thomas talking with Griphook that was added in the game, which was kinda nice. I would've given this game a 10 if the game was similar to the book and a little more challenging. Overall, Deathly Hallows Part 1 is a game that could be better but great for die hard HP fans.
Rated 10 out of 10 by 12345789 It's pretty awesome
When I bought this game, I wasn't sure whether I would like it or not, but then I opened it and started playing and it was awesome. It's not hard on easy and one bummer I had is its kinda short. If you hear a negative review about a dragon, don't worry you just have to find the exit, and its not hard, To cast spells you just go to the spell wheel and that basically pauses the game and choose a spell then you can aim at the head using Z and pressing B. The spells are awesome. You can use confringo on people and confundo. The spell wheel is accessed by pressing the + button. There are about 9 side missions that you have to do but they are just basically rescuing muggle-borns. If you have to keep the invisibility cloak on then the timer is a watcher but other than that you can usually just put it on fast. I do recommend this greatly cause its the funnest game I've ever played. When the video game for part two comes out, I'll have no doubt on buying it.
Rated 8 out of 10 by HARRYPOTTERlover For Die-Hard HP fans...
I was extremely excited for this game. The graphics looked amazing, the gameplay looked good, and the action was superb, It looked as though EA had gotten HP out of its rut (Harry Potter 5: and the Endless Hallways). Little did I know that the Wii version wasn't going to be like other console versions. The graphics were still pretty good (for a Wii game), the gameplay was.... ok, and the action was interesting. Instead of your wand, you have Harry using his repeat action spell rifle to take-down enemies. The controls weren't all that great, being that to look in a different direction, you had to tilt the remote a certain way, and then the game seemed as if it was really meant for Die-hard HP fans. Now I'm not saying other people won't like it, but you really have to love Harry a lot to be able to tolerate the controls and spell-rifle action. My family couldn't stand to play it, let alone watch me play it. The game itself is somewhat short. It didn't take me long, even with short times when I was stuck in a corner of the Ministry of Magic, or trying to get past the snatchers. I think it waz a good try, but it could've been better.

ok so the game looks great but why not for psp. i mean i no the last games sucked and not many people bought them but thats there own fault the graphics sucked. i saw this game and thought sweet an actual harry potter game that might be good but there only doing it for the ds, ps3, xbox360, wii and pc why not psp im pretty sure alot of people like handheld consoles than normal ones. and this is one of the last harry potter games they have to make it brilliant other wise they cant go back so for part 2 there better be a psp version.if you agree say yes!

Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows part 1 is differemt than most harry potter games and belive me thats a good thing. Instead of going through Hogwarts, making potions, flying through rings on a broom, dueling people and barely following the storyline (like harry potter 6), you are on the run from snatchers and death eaters from the very begining sequence, in wich harry is fighting death eaters from hagrids bike. One of the great parts of this game is th spell wheel. At first you start off with the simple yet effective spell, stubefy. Later you unlock many other spells like expolso. Expolso is like a rapid fire spell and is alot like crucio, wich u dont unlock. Another one of my favorites is confundo. Confundo is good when your outnumbered because when casted, the target is on your side for a while and starts fighting on your side. Not only can you fight using your wand but you can also use certian types of potions, like exploding potions (its name is selfexplanotory), peruvian instant darkness powder when thrown fills the area with smoke. The graphics are a little different if you buy it for the wii, but thats not to say they aren't good. The sound is excellent. The voices of the characters are great. The overall gameplay is very good. I would recomend this game especially to harry potter fans who were waiting for that one harry potter game with action and adventure or pretty much anyone who is looking for a good action game

Well, I am just going to say what everyone else is thinking. I hope this one is better than the last two. When the Harry Potter franchise begen, the games were among the best movie tie-ins on the market. This continued through the third game. The fourth game had a few problems, but it still wasn't cringe inducing like other movie-based games. The fifth and sixth games were awful. That is all I can say about them. After reading product descriptions and kowing the story basically by heart, I have much hope for this title. I just hope it doesn't dissappoint.

So at first I was like you know I don't think I should get this game because the fifth one sucked. Then I bought it hearing like it was Call of Duty and believe me it is great! It is practically Call of Duty except with wizards, magic, and a different story line. I wait at least a week to get the game and finally a day before Thanksgiving, I get the game. Can't play it till morning. Great graphics especially for a Wii game of our time. If you don't get this game you are missing out.
Rated 10 out of 10 by ATC1 This game is the best HP game ever!!!
I got this game for my son (he's a HP fan) and he loved it the second he got the game!!! My son is 10 1-2. My son said "I love this game!!!" The most common spell you would use would be Stupefy. You have Protego that makes a shield out of your wand and it protects you from enemies' spells. The invinsibility cloak is very useful!!! My son can't wait till HP and TDH Part 2 for Wii!!! I have no reason why these other people of the world say this game isn't fun.

I pre-ordered this game and i think you should too. The Harry Potter series is fun to play, watch, and read. I mean there's so many mystery and magic that makes Harry Potter a real joy! There's going to be some really cool spells like Wingardium Leviosa, Expelliarmus, Stupefy, and other ones too! In this game you can use the Invisibility Cloak, Polyjuice Potion, ect. to finish your ongoing battle against Voldemort and his Death Eater's.
