Guitar Hero 5 Guitar Kit
The Most Awesome Guitar Hero Yet!
Before I got Guitar Hero 5, I had Guitar Hero 3. Before I had that, me and my friend opened GH: Aerosmith out of the box and beat it overnight. (Okay so it took 6 hours because it was three in the morning. So what?) I want from easy to expert difficulty that night. So I though I would be able to ace every song on GH: 5. FAIL. WRONG ANSWER. TRY AGAIN. Most of the songs on this game are hard. But really fun! And thats just on guitar mode. When I got drums for this later on, I tried those. Hint, dont try Bullet With Butterfly Wings as your first song with drums. I made that mistake. If you haven't bought any Guitar Heroes yet, GET THIS! I how much the game plays like a real guitar. And I love how you can do multiple guitars, basses, etc. Overall, this is a great game. What with the song selection and playability, its just awesome!

It's A Pretty Good Buy
I for one was not dissapointed at Activisions effort at World Tour but, was neither "Wow'd". I noticed that the graphics and lighting were a bit poor and there were still some glitchy parts that stood out. However, Guitar Hero 5 completely re-designed practiclly everything while still keeping that Guitar Hero touch. The lighting has improved dramaticlly, the graphics are smooth and the color stands out. First, let me admit that every feature you would find on the X-Box or PS3 version, is also found on the Wii (excluding the X-Box avatar feature). The menu has also changed and guess what, IT IS AWESOME. To get to a song basiclly press the yellow button and your there. If that's not enough, theres dozen of other time-consuming things to do. An impressive online upgrade (No more in-game friend codes), challenges on the career mode that make it worth playing, GHstudio (which has gotten 10x better). GHstudio took the confusion out of its previous version and now what you play actually sounds like a REAL guitar. Music Studio is ehh...more organized but nothing to special. I found myself playing Roadie Battle with my friends about half the time, it's just so addicting, and it's a WII exclusive feature along with the option to make your own music videos. Yes, music videos using Mii Freestyle w/ a combination of a Nintendo DS. Now, to the songs...let me put it like this, if you loved the World Tour setlist, your going to be a bit unsatisfied with this setlist. If you adored Metallica, you are going to HATE this setlist. This setlist is aimed for a much younger audience, more into Pop, Hip-hop, and Rap. Don't let this discourage you, there are about 10 songs on this game that I found much more difficult than Hot for Teacher (believe it or not). It's just that the songs aren't nearly as challenging as they were with Metallica or GH3 for that matter. Still, I can't say I don't like these songs, I'm not into that kind of music but, come on, look at this line-up: "Smells Like Teen Spirit" [Nirvana], "They Say"[Scars On Broadway], "Ring of Fire"[Johnny Cash], "Sympathy for the Devil"[The Rolling Stones], and "2 Minutes to Midnight"[Iron Maiden]. That's pretty impressive. In my perspective, the DLC and importing of songs save this setlist. That's why I state this is a pretty good buy, for a simple price of 6 dollars, you can import your World Tour and Smash Hits songs. Not too shabby, including DLC compatability which I thank because not only is GH DLC challenging, it has now brought in THE ROLLING STONES. Altogether, if your into Guitar Hero because of the atmosphere it creates as a party game then BUY IT (you will not be dissapointed), if you prefer to tear your fingers to shreds by rocking out for high scores or whatever I say ITS YOUR CHOICE (mainly because the career mode offers ridiculous amount of challenges that I consider Expert++++++). In conclusion, this is by far the best Guitar Hero game averaging out what a Guitar Hero game SHOULD BE. Oh yea...and I like it.
this game is going to be awsome. being able to do any combo of instraments that you want is cool. also being able to save a band member is going to be good becuase im tired of playing songs and then you keep failling them because of other band members. i cant wait till this game comes out :D!
