Good...
This game is okay. Its okay for a little while then it gets boring. Say you wanna just play in the Tournament, its okay just not that fun. The graphics are epic though.

great for casual gamers
This game gets so much hate because its suppose to be so easy and repetitive. In my opinion this game is somewhat repetitive but not nearly as the dragon ball z fighting games which are EXTREMELY repetitive (BURST LIMITS) and in some cases the same game. This game is similar to what you will play on a handheld system. Its also the only dragon ball game on not on a handheld so that counts for something if your a fan.

Great Game!
Dragon Ball Revenge of King Piccolo was a really great game. I loved how the characters were in 3D and that it was kind of long. The only thing i did not like is that when Goku is about to use Kamehameha on a special finisher like when Officer Black was down, You have to move the analog stick back and forth which was sometimes kind of hard. I would rather have the L and R Trigger to do it. The graphics were AMAZING!! It was almost like i was controlling the actual anime (or show as Americans call it). The battles are really cool also. They are just like Budokai. Another thing that i would fix is the ability that you cannot control the camera angles. That would really help to go through openings and doors and looks at different things. Overall, This game was awesome!

Dragon Ball - Action/Adventure/Fighting
What would the video game indrustry be without action, adventure, and fighting games? From what i know, they are the most popular. Think about this: what would happen if you combine these three genres into one? Well, it depends on these things: Storyline, length, challenge, controls and graphics. Graphics: Decent, but you cant make anime games into all out amazing 3D graphics because fans of manga, anime and Dragon Ball will think bad of the game because its just not the same, so dont critisize the graphics. Length and challenge: since I dont play games as much as alot of you guys, I dont take the time to play a game for hours just to beat it. So for me, the length is fine. In addition, The Challenge adds to the length. Controls: I was so relived when I found out that you dont use the motion controls of the wii remote. At all. You can also use a Gamecube Controller! Storyline: I think that if you are a Dragon Ball Fan like me, you'll love it, just not as much as a non fan. I really Recomend this game for fans and non fans. The gameplay is just so fun by the fact that it mixes action/adventure/fighting, all in one! The boss battles are great too! Oh, and sorry for my spelling (not amazing).

Finally, a 3-D Dragon Ball game that's not a full on fighting game.
Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo really marks the first time the original Dragon Ball series gets a 3-D graphics treatment like its bigger, money grubbing brother, DragonBall Z. For anyone that's played Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure on the GBA some years back, you know what you're in for. Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo is the spiritual sequel to Advanced Adventure (while technically being the sequel to last year's Dragon Ball :Origins/Dragon Ball DS) in the sense that it plays nearly the same. It's a 2-D style platformer with beat em up' mechanics and a simplistic VS. mode that adds some replayability. There's some nice 3-D cutscenes that perfectly re-create Toriyama's art style at the time of the comic's serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump alas the original Budokai. It tells the story from where Dragon Ball Origins left off, the Red Ribbon Army arc to the Demon King Piccolo arc. Versus Mode has all the characters from the story arcs to common house like Son Goku, Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Kuririn/Krillin, and Jackie Chun, to more obscure ones like Devilman, The Mummy, and Arale Norimaki of Dr. Slump. While it may not have the powerhouse content of its bigger brother DBZ or the upcoming Dragon Ball Raging Blast for the 360 and PS3, Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo is at least worth checking out to get a good idea of how Son Goku and friends came to be or if you're just looking for a different kind of Dragon Ball game.

kid Goku adventure
This is one of those Dragon Ball Games I've been waiting for. I can't wait to play as Kid Goku and fight some cool bosses from the Dragon Ball series. You should preorder this game.
