Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop
Kind of a let down, but still a good game!
This game may be a bit too easy, but its still fun! the controls are tough to get use too and the zombies die WAAAY to easy, for instance, hitting zombies with a baseball bat is a one hit kill, but shooting them down with a pistol, shotgun, ext, just destroys your ammo...plus, they took scenes from the 360 and just slapped them onto this game and lowered the graphics a little. BUT, this is really not a bad game! if you play it long enough, you just might fall in love with it! plus, i dont really suggest this game for first time players of dead rising seeing how there are 2 new annoying enemies: What appears to be a Parrot and a Harmless yet deadly looking Poodle..(Sad aint it?) like i said, the game is also confusing seeing how you have a camera..but you cant use it..Odd isnt it?anyways, this really isnt a bad game is you just bought a wii or something..i really recommend you RENT IT before buying
you may think that this is not as good as the original dead rising but personally i think it is much better. the game is easy except for one level towards the end of the story mode. the controls are great it makes you feel like you are in the game when you use weapons like chainsaws , knives ,baseball bats or snipers. and this game is so fun i play this a few hours a day and it is amazing . there are so many different weapons to use in this game. this is probably the best wii game i have played and it is by far the best horror game i have played. although this game is great i recommend getting the upcoming "dead rising 2" it looks like the best release of the year . if you are looking for a great game that is fun and time consuming GET THIS GAME
First of all i have the 360 version and i got a say CAPCOM you have done it again the graphics were awesome the gameplay was incredibly fun but the only thing i complain is the saving i hated the saving in the 360 version but despite that it was a awesomely fun game. When i found out that wii version of this game is coming out literaly CRAPED my pants i thought the my life was complete and i rented this game it was so good i rented it twice lol. The graphics didnt even matter at the point to me its all about the gameplay and it was fun but i have several complaints like the way that some of the area was blocked but once you get used to it its fun as hell. Love the way you get guns and the way you use the guns it feels like a resident evil 4 game but what i found out later it is the same engine they used for resident evil 4 and it worked well.I was excited that the my favorite character in the game survives and he helps you in the game just in case you were wondering its the Gun Shop Owner I thought he was funny in the first one. Im glad you get to kill the evil demon possessed scary clown i hate clowns again. Buy this game and I guareentee you would be surprised of how many times you replay this game. Buy it now!!!!!!!!!!!!
this game is the reason i bought a wii. when i saw the wii first come out i didnt think it was all that great but when this game came out i knew i had to play it. so i went and got a wii and now i cant quite playing it!!! i love this game and system!!! so far i havent had a single problem with either of them. i have beat this game several times and keep replaying it. its so fun!!!! i love the ability to pick up a knife and cut the zombies to pieces. i also like the chainsaw. i love this game and am completly satisfied with it. the graphics are exxcelent. the challenge is rather easy but still fun. the length is also rather fun. not too long and not too short. the storyline is awesome. and the sounds are often spooky. especially at night!!!!! great game. easy to control. all around great game.
You are trap in a mall. You are boxed in buy zombie on all sides. What do you do? This game is the story of a journalist who has 72 hours to get the story and 3 days to survive. The clock is constintly counting down and you must solve case which real just invole you going somewhere to get something or save someone. There really isnt much varity. The fun you get from this game depends on how much you like smashing the living dead with different weapons. And there is a lot of weapons! About anything you can think of you can us to put the dead back down. The swinging of the wii-mote can get a little stupid but not enough so that it detracts away from the overall experince. The zombies are hard to get by some times when you are running around with somebody you have to save and that person runs right into the crowd of zombies. The surviors are almost as stupid as the dead. They have no idea whats going on they will run time and time again into zombies. Overall it is a good addicting game that is hard to just to play once.
Failed recreation of a master piece
As we all know, the original Dead Rising was an amazing game. It had story and game play mechanics the likes of which had not been seen before. So when Nintendo and Capcom decided to remake it on the wii as a way to make more money, things went sour. First off, they changed the 3 day timer, so instead of you being at the mercy of time, it now contoured to you, so you pretty much get as much time as you want. This removes the urgent feeling of getting to each scoop before it expires. Also, they removed the ability to take pictures, which was one of the best parts of the original. And if you used one of the many guns that you buy in the game, you will notice a simularity between the game and Resident Evil 4: Wii edition. They recycled the engine from that game and placed it in Dead Rising Chop Till You Drop, but Dead Rising isn't suppose to be a shooting game, it is a hack'n'slash. I could go into more detail, but I think I've said enough. Dead Rising Chop Till You Drop is, bottom line, a a horrible rehash of a master piece.
good game but not the greatest
let me start by saying this is 1 of the most easyest games ever releashed 4 the wii u can just walk right pass the zombies and they dont even do anything. i palyed the xbox 360 verison and i liked it even though the zombies didnt attack when u walked by the boss battles were challenging. so i thought the wii verison would be good to. it wasnet the worset game i ever played butit wasnet even close to the best game i ever played. the graphics arnt teerible but there nothing to brag about. its a pretty long game and can be frustaing at times (like when your surviver dies or when u dont no where 2 go). the storyline is what i dont like. If u played the 1st deadrising game (and sorry 2 ruin it if u didnt) the way the zombies got into the mall in the 1st place is that a retarded old lady just had to save her perfect dog (which i dont no how it got outside) but she tore down the barricade and opened the door (like an idiot) so i didnt like that. i wouldnt go right out and buy this game i would rent it 1st then if i liked it buy it but the choice is yours
Awesome zombie game for the Wii
Contrary to popular belief and opinion, this game isn't a port. In fact, if Capcom really did try to port this game, the end result would just be the trashy game that everyone claims it to be. Instead of porting Dead Rising, Capcom remade the game entirely from the ground up, with the foundation being the Resident Evil 4 engine. What we get is basically Dead Rising with gameplay similar to Resident Evil 4. The game now has a bigger emphasis on firearms. When you reach a mob of zombies, it's more effective (not to mention satisfying) to just whip out a shotgun, machine gun, rifle, or any other weapon you have equipped and blow them all to kingdom come instead of walking up to them and bashing their brains in. Without comparing this to the Xbox 360 version, the graphics look pretty good for a Wii game. The cutscenes were all ripped from the Xbox 360 and converted into FMVs, meaning that they look just like they did in the original. The only drawback is the quality looks a little softer, and any clothes that Frank is wearing won't show up. Fortunately, this game does correct some problems that were in the Xbox 360 game, such as the small text and the lack of places to save. Overall, even with it's flaws, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop is an awesome game. If you liked Resident Evil 4 and the original Dead Rising, then I strongly suggest that you get Chop Till You Drop. Trust me. Your money won't be wasted.
well well well, Dead Rising for the wii. I have to admit this game was fun and difficult not to mention bloody, but all in all it is worth the cash you can adjust the blood settings brightness even for when the power is out and dress poor frank in a bikiini. Sure it's not what I expected, I rescued everyone. got my extented ending, and pulled everything off very easily. As for the zombies they are easily disposed of except for the ones that are introduced later in the game. they can take a beating if you lack a sword or ax. as for some downers some of my shots said they missed when i was aiming for heads but i hit my mark. length of the game. it took me two days to complete the game but it might take you longer i had too much free time. i still go back for disposing of the entire town. i think my kill count was atleast 15 thousand on my first run through. when the lights in the mall are off it makes your senses tingle because you may be attacked out of the blue. you dont have all the wepons in the 360 but what you do have is still fun to play with.
It was ok
When I first got the game I didn't expect anything obove the standards of a wii game. I played the game and I saw a game better than any other wii game I had. The graphics were ok. The sound was actually pretty good for a wii game. I hate the fact that like half the cutscenes were taken out of this game. I do like the fact that it is the same game on the wii as it is on the xbox. Overall this game is good for dead rising fans without an xbox.
