Rated 4 out of 5 by from Underrated This game was SO underrated. Granted, it may not be the best game on the Wii but it was one of the better ones. It was decent and had a creative concept. The soundtrack was INFECTIOUSLY JAZZY!!!!!!! It had a few flaws here and there, most of which I hear were solved in the sequel, de Blob 2.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GLITCHY, but fun for young(or comical)audiences. I don't know if it's just my Wii, or if I was doing something wrong, or maybe my sensor is un-calibrated or some other ridiculous reason because this games has always been glitchy while I've played it. I'd try to make it leap right and it would leap left, I'd try to bounce against a building and it would throw me into the water, I'd be traveling up a tower via walls and all of a sudden it would glitch making me miss the next wall and fall all the way down. Sorry if there's just something wrong with my console or disk that I can't find out, but every time I played this, these glitches would happen multiple times. I gave it a very low rating on gameplay just because of this, after a while just getting around would get me killed, and it would never be my fault. Hard to control: check. Putting that aside, the sound quality and music are good, and you can always change the music before a mission to match your mood. The graphics are average, not fantastic but still good. The lasting appeal is okay, the funny characters and storyline are enough to make you laugh and keep playing, but the campaign is pretty short, and I never really had the urge to play again. This is a game for younger players or older gamers who just want a good laugh at something that feels like an original childhood cartoon. It's fun, but it has been about three years or maybe more since I got it, and I've grown out of this game, probably won't be replaying it any time soon. I wrote this review so the rest of you could realize what this is, a funny, kind of short, original game that could use some fixing on the gameplay. But again, I'm not sure if it plays different for any of you. Overall it deserves somewhat of a 7 or 7 and a half, but I just gave it an 8 because I know a lot of kids will enjoy it. Oh, and by the way, if you're a young kid that's like 8 DO NOT check out the games I recommended, those are for older gamers (I bet you'll start playing them when you're about 12 or so).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Addicting! This game is very addicting. Color is the ultimate weapon. Different styles appear too. Awesome gameplay as well. For $10 that is a steal for this incredible game!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't you dare label it a kid's game. I'm 17. I'm "supposed" to love shoot-em-up games, but this just blew me away. I love everything about it, from the hilarious characters to the wacky gameplay, to the base fun of painting a city. My copy came with a soundtrack, and it is amazing. You get to pick which "mood" de Blob's in before each level and the background music will match, all of which are perfect compliments to the gameplay. The only downside is that it's on the Wii. The motion controls, while sounding like a good idea, actually make the blob harder to control at first. I'm glad the sequel is coming out on xbox, so I can handle de Blob with more "classic" controls. Whether you're kid or and adult doesn't matter; get the game, you'll love it too.
