The original Carnival Games was an amazing game just like the mini-golf one. All of the courses in the game are so fun and they all have different twists. Some holes in the game have secret places to hit the ball. As the ball goes in, you will have to complete a mission, and if you pass it, you will get a hole-in-one. Some of the challenges are very difficult, but some are very easy. Also, when you enter a course, there are secret things you can press to unlock some sort of an accessory. To me, unlocking golf balls, golf clubs and clothes is the best part. There are different difficulty levels to the holes too. There are easy, medium and hard. The hard level is extremely difficult. The other levels are pretty easy though. Last, in each course there is a trick shot hole. They are really fun to play, and sometimes can be very hard. I recommend this game to people enjoy golf and people who enjoyed the original Carnival Games.

When I heard that Carnival Games Mini Golf is coming out, I was so psyched to get it. Like the first Carnival Games game, this game has awesome graphics, courses, and challenges. Every world that you unlock ( unlike the barnyard and prehistoria courses) has a special surprise that makes you think, "Wow; I really need to customize my character with this outfit." I really like that you can use tokens that you got from different golf courses to get amazingly cool stuff at the pro shop tp customize your avatar and that some stuff that you buy are put on display whenever you enter a part of the pro shop. I was able to defeat Barker, a.k.a. the golf professional, in all 3 levels of prehistoria and get the Barker tokens. I also loved the challenges that could get amazing amounts of coins if you make it past the 100% mark. So far, I was able to get two challenges done for amazing scores. I'd recommend that you buy this game because, I'm telling you, if you do, you will be amazed at all the wacky golf courses and earn puzzle pieces for new golf clubs as you go along unlocking new worlds and stuff.
Rated 2 out of 10 by Kardino Worst game I've seen
This is a very bad game, despite what the other reviews say. My family played it for 2 hours, then stopped permanently. Little kids might like this, but once you reach about 7, it becomes extremely boring.

out of many golf games I've played, this has to be the best one! It was amazing, and the graphics are all colorful. The courses are all creative and imaginative when there is so much excitement you don't want to put down your remote! I highly recommend it, and also look out for the original and the monkey-see-money-do on X Box Kinect!

Finally, they made a golf game that will actually be engoyable for kids and not boring like all the others. Imagine if you would have to do all the things you would usually do at mini golf with a bunch of obstacles. AWESOME!

I think that this game is good for a little bit by yourself, but even better with others. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants a good family game night game.

Very interesting, and a "different" kind of golf game. I loved it, and my family did also.

As you can guess from having the word 'Carnival' in the title, the game is more about fun than being realistic. The ball roles and reacts with a reasonable amount of realism. The putting requires input similar to real life, but simplified to make the game easily playable by a range of players with different skill levels. The realism stops at the course design. In real life the degree of variability in most minigolf courses is determined in changes of elevation, layout, and hazards. The "Carnival Games Minigolf" has arcade elements that take the courses beyond what could be done in real life. Some of the courses have elaborate layouts that would be difficult to physically recreate. Some of the courses have puzzle elements that must be solved to finish. These additions to the courses make each course truly unique to play. Of all the minigolfs holes available to play, they are divided into different themes. A single game can be up to nine holes consisting of a combination of themes chosen by the player. Each theme has a mini-game that is triggered if the player putts the golf ball in to the correct area. The mini-game does not directly affect the minigolf score, but does usually lie along the shortest path to the hole. A character is created by the player that can be customized by a collection of faces, hairstyles, clothes, and accessories. Each theme has associated coins that are collected during regular play. The mini-games provide chances to collect bonus coins. The coins are spent to unlock theme specific accessories and clothes. The desire to collect coins to purchase special items adds an element of replayability that goes beyond simply trying to improve your minigolf score on a given theme course. The harder course themes are unlocked by playing single player challenges. This feature also adds replayability, because you can practice each course theme before trying the challenge. Up to four players can play during a single game. The game allows for shared WII remotes, so there is no need to buy four remotes just for this game. The game has an in-game feature that allows the character to be stored in the WII remote's memory (so the character can be taken to play on someone else’s WII). In summary this minigolf game is all about fun. The arcade features available on the WII game console allows the game to go beyond the limitations of physical minigolf courses. Play the games with friends, family, and anybody else you would allow to play minigolf on your WII.
