This is the best wii shooter ever. by far. There's absolutely no competition. It was amazing. From burning people to shreds with a flamethrower, to killing people with a tank, to wiping them out with snipers, to picking them off with machine guns, this game has it all. Absolutely... perfect.
Rated 5 out of 10 by circa1198 ok but get it for 360
its ok. i mean i got it for wii and for 360 and the 360 version made the wii version look HORRIBLE. its ok for the wii i liked it the first time around. but there was no nazi zombies, no vehicles on multiplayer, no splitscreen just that squadmate crap. i have a chair the leans back so i leant it back and the wii remote would'nt pick up so i just got killed. controls r ok its kind of bad how u have to aim. one thing also is i was standing on a cliff with germans at the bottom and they just randomly saw me and started to pop out of no where. if you have a 360 and wii get the 360 version. the grafics for wii are bad. i shot a guy and like one squirt of blood came out. on vetern i got so fusterated with the wii because how u aim and the japs coming out of no where with the banzai attacks and tree snipers it just got me so angry! it took me like 2 days to finish it. and with no nazi zombies it just got really boring. if u dont have 360 get this for wii. you will be more happy with it than me.
Rated 7 out of 10 by JCBAM gets boring after awhile.
I have to say that when i first got the game it was awesome. but now after having it for 3 months i have to say it is utterly boring. when i get home i might go upstairs and play for 15 mins and just stop, thats how boring it gets. the online is great at first but there are barley any game modes. all there really is is team death match and free for all and after awhile it gets so old. the story i have to admit is good but it is missing a few things xbox, ps3 and pc have. and as for the graphics all i can say is that they are terrible. they look like ps2 which is really bad considering what the wii can really do. and how do i know this is true. well just look at the new games being made by high voltage software for wii. the conduit and gladiator A.D both have amazing graphics. while COD looks like a cruddy ported ps2 game. so if i where you i would not get this game unless you don't mind doing the same thing over and over again. to tell you the truth I'm just gonna trade it in and get the conduit.

This game is definitely not my favorite. The best thing about this game is the controls and story. Compared to the 360 version and ps3 version its not as violent. Also, you barely see blood. The online is okay considering the bad graphics. I am really disappointed there was no kill cam. The story mode was good except fort the sound. It is very challenging and it goes on and on. I was also disappointed because there was no Nazi Zombies. Nazi Zombies was one of the reaons i bought this game for the ps3. Also there was no upgrades that you could download which is disappointing. I know that its just the wii but this could of done better. When you play online 50 different people could have the same username, which made me mad. On the wii everyone bragged because it had special online games but really there is just a small difference in them from team deathwatch and death-match. If you go and buy this game think ahead i sold this game and got the conduit it is 10 times better.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Kevbo Best online FPS for Wii
Single Player: It has a great story that is very mature but well scripted. It is also quite challenging on the harder difficulties. Multiplayer: This is where the game shines. All the perks, classes, attachments, upgrades, levels, leaderboards, stats are in there which is great. Plenty of maps that are varied both in terrain and style. No waiting for games and I haven't experienced any lag yet. I couldn't find the awesome filters and searches that MOHH2 had but the quick match has worked flawlessly for me so far. Controls: There are a good amount of options that let you adjust and fine tune both normal and 'down the sights' camera controls and bounding boxes. The cursor is responsive and smooth. Finally the game just plays great. Single player is fast and intense. Multiplayer is addictive and rewarding. Controls are varied and responsive. Most importantly, it is FUN! The hit detection online is good and the graphics are much better than most games. If you like online FPS then stop reading and go get the game.
Rated 10 out of 10 by bmoney very good game over all
This game is good with campaign an is very fun, exiting, and gives some what of a challenge. Online is very good though but there is one thing they ned to fix. The lag and the over kill. You don't get overkill until lvl 56 which kinda stinks..Also there is not a lot of maps online in this place. Another not so good thing is there is NO SNIPING in this game what so ever..Which for me is disappointing and good at the same time. in cod 4 i would walk out into the open and bam i would get picked ff by some dude thats crazy good.I bet you can tell i like close range. But then in some maps online like cliff side you need the ptrs or else you got a not so good sniping. Another bad part is the ptrs is the only gun that comes with a scope. You have to get 25 kills with a 2-3 hit ko with a bolt action rifle which is not fun at all and takes forever. But if you are looking for a challenge don't get this. i beet this game in like an hour. way to easy for me.

Having no Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, I turned to shooters on the Wii. I had played Modern Warfare: Reflex before, but I had only recently connected the Wii to internet. I was immediately hooked. I was offered a great deal from Power Up Rewards, and purchased World at War. I had played it on the 360 once, and wasn't very impressed. But when I started playing, I was amazed. The campaign was much better than Modern Warfare; more challenging, and the sound quality was awesome. The campaign was awesome. Then I began multiplayer. I was blown away. I recognized many of the perks, but was shocked at the weapons. In Modern Warfare, you have health, and durability, even if not a designated health bar. In World at War, it's much more realistic. It's more of a one shot, one kill scenario. It's challenging, difficult, and requires strategic movements.Only a few regrets: There are only a few maps for multiplayer. The online play disconnects easily. The knifing is slow. There is no zombie on the Wii. But alli-in-all, it's an awesome game, and I highly recommend it.

This game was a let down. Ok the campaign is fine but everyone only played it so they could unlock nazi zombes. But guess what, there is no nazi zombies. There is no online co-op, and the co-op it does have kinda sucks. There is no split-screen just another cross-hair. The graphics are ok for a wii game, although the character models can be pretty bad. There is no bump mapping, but the effects look pretty good. The controls are ok, they work but there not medal of honor status. The online was the biggest disappointment. There is only 8 people on 8 maps. No DLC. No tank maps. All of the challenges aren't in it, such as boot camp and others. There is the ranking system and perks but really thats all your getting. There is only 2 modes, death match and team death match the hardcore modes of those. There is no search and destroy, no headquarters, no capture the flag, no war, and all the other modes. There is just too much missing for you to get it. Your basically getting half the game for ***. Thats a rip-off because the other versions are only 10 bucks more.

As we wait about 5 more days for COD:WAW to come out, is this game going to effect the wii?I vote yes. Considering all COD titles are solid war game titles, this will definitely boost some production in FPS games for the Wii. The Wii only has a few FPS WW2 games, but the best one is Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. All of them lack local multiplayer, length and weapons. They don't lack bugs. Hopefully COD:WAW is a turning point for Wii games. With Quantum of Solace just released a day ago, and with The Conduit coming in a matter of months, I believe this is going to be the most solid title for Wii and a for sure hit. This shows that Wii isn't just for little kids anymore. Developers are getting use to the "akward" motion controls, upping the graphics immensely and making gameplay similar to the Wii's rival systems. Now if there was a solid FPS game that came out with the Classic Controller, that would be a different story.
