Call of Duty: World at War
NO Zombies But GReat
i thought there was going to be any zombies theres is none dont even try getting like in c heat codes or anything there is no way of getting zombies the story good but not like xboxz or ps3 wifi good to
This is the best wii shooter ever. by far. There's absolutely no competition. It was amazing. From burning people to shreds with a flamethrower, to killing people with a tank, to wiping them out with snipers, to picking them off with machine guns, this game has it all. Absolutely... perfect.
ok but get it for 360
its ok. i mean i got it for wii and for 360 and the 360 version made the wii version look HORRIBLE. its ok for the wii i liked it the first time around. but there was no nazi zombies, no vehicles on multiplayer, no splitscreen just that squadmate crap. i have a chair the leans back so i leant it back and the wii remote would'nt pick up so i just got killed. controls r ok its kind of bad how u have to aim. one thing also is i was standing on a cliff with germans at the bottom and they just randomly saw me and started to pop out of no where. if you have a 360 and wii get the 360 version. the grafics for wii are bad. i shot a guy and like one squirt of blood came out. on vetern i got so fusterated with the wii because how u aim and the japs coming out of no where with the banzai attacks and tree snipers it just got me so angry! it took me like 2 days to finish it. and with no nazi zombies it just got really boring. if u dont have 360 get this for wii. you will be more happy with it than me.
Having no Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, I turned to shooters on the Wii. I had played Modern Warfare: Reflex before, but I had only recently connected the Wii to internet. I was immediately hooked. I was offered a great deal from Power Up Rewards, and purchased World at War. I had played it on the 360 once, and wasn't very impressed. But when I started playing, I was amazed. The campaign was much better than Modern Warfare; more challenging, and the sound quality was awesome. The campaign was awesome. Then I began multiplayer. I was blown away. I recognized many of the perks, but was shocked at the weapons. In Modern Warfare, you have health, and durability, even if not a designated health bar. In World at War, it's much more realistic. It's more of a one shot, one kill scenario. It's challenging, difficult, and requires strategic movements.Only a few regrets: There are only a few maps for multiplayer. The online play disconnects easily. The knifing is slow. There is no zombie on the Wii. But alli-in-all, it's an awesome game, and I highly recommend it.
gets boring after awhile.
I have to say that when i first got the game it was awesome. but now after having it for 3 months i have to say it is utterly boring. when i get home i might go upstairs and play for 15 mins and just stop, thats how boring it gets. the online is great at first but there are barley any game modes. all there really is is team death match and free for all and after awhile it gets so old. the story i have to admit is good but it is missing a few things xbox, ps3 and pc have. and as for the graphics all i can say is that they are terrible. they look like ps2 which is really bad considering what the wii can really do. and how do i know this is true. well just look at the new games being made by high voltage software for wii. the conduit and gladiator A.D both have amazing graphics. while COD looks like a cruddy ported ps2 game. so if i where you i would not get this game unless you don't mind doing the same thing over and over again. to tell you the truth I'm just gonna trade it in and get the conduit.
This game is definitely not my favorite. The best thing about this game is the controls and story. Compared to the 360 version and ps3 version its not as violent. Also, you barely see blood. The online is okay considering the bad graphics. I am really disappointed there was no kill cam. The story mode was good except fort the sound. It is very challenging and it goes on and on. I was also disappointed because there was no Nazi Zombies. Nazi Zombies was one of the reaons i bought this game for the ps3. Also there was no upgrades that you could download which is disappointing. I know that its just the wii but this could of done better. When you play online 50 different people could have the same username, which made me mad. On the wii everyone bragged because it had special online games but really there is just a small difference in them from team deathwatch and death-match. If you go and buy this game think ahead i sold this game and got the conduit it is 10 times better.
I cannot speak to other game systems; I also have a PS2 but enjoy the Wii primarily because of the controls. Anyway, as to CoD: WaW, I enjoy this game very much. From the opening scene to the final fire fight, it kept surprising me, especially with Japanese fighters popping up out of nowhere and attacking. I thought the graphics sufficiently realistic for a game, the audio portions ok, the action pace quick and exciting, and weapons accuracy acceptable (though not great). I enjoyed being a Russian for a while, and trying out some of their WWII weapons, but I prefer the M1 Garand and the 1918 BAR. I had a little trouble at first figuring out the objectives for a few of the battles. If, in the heat of a fire fight, you don't hear the voiced instructions, you can miss an objective and get "lost" on the battlefield. All in all, though, I do enjoy playing this game and highly recommend it to others.
Nintedega's Review for CoD: World at War (Wii)
This game is awesome. This is my second favorite Call of Duty game, behind Black Ops. The gameplay is very fun and addictive. In the American campaign you play as Pvt. Miller, who was captured by the Japanese and rescued by Crp. Roebuck and his team. In the Russian campaign you play as Pvt. Demitri Petrenko who regains conciousness to find his fellow Russian comrads dead, exept for one, Srg. Viktor Reznov. The game switches back and forth between playing with Miller and Petrenko. The controlls of this game are easy and hardly ever non-responsive. The online multi-player is very fun and addivtive also but not as good as Black Ops online play. The game stars Keifer Sutherland (24, The Fifth Element, Die Hard series etc.) as Crp./Srg. Roebuck and Gary Oldman (The Fifth Element, Dracula, Harry Potter series etc.) as Srg. Reznov. Again, this game is very fun and addictive. Pick it up.
Best online FPS for Wii
Single Player: It has a great story that is very mature but well scripted. It is also quite challenging on the harder difficulties. Multiplayer: This is where the game shines. All the perks, classes, attachments, upgrades, levels, leaderboards, stats are in there which is great. Plenty of maps that are varied both in terrain and style. No waiting for games and I haven't experienced any lag yet. I couldn't find the awesome filters and searches that MOHH2 had but the quick match has worked flawlessly for me so far. Controls: There are a good amount of options that let you adjust and fine tune both normal and 'down the sights' camera controls and bounding boxes. The cursor is responsive and smooth. Finally the game just plays great. Single player is fast and intense. Multiplayer is addictive and rewarding. Controls are varied and responsive. Most importantly, it is FUN! The hit detection online is good and the graphics are much better than most games. If you like online FPS then stop reading and go get the game.
It needs zombies...
The game would be perfect if it had zombies.Treyarch say wii's graphic card cant take it but they should make a new only zombies game for wii.
