Rated 8 out of 10 by Nevermore How to use your reflexes, for Reflex.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex edition takes the best selling game and puts the twist of the Wii on it. Reflex has the same storyline as the regular PS3, Xbox 360, and Computer versions, you switch between SAS amd American forces soldiers, each trying to take out a terroist group. The story is very well rounded and I found myself almost thinking that this is probally what it is in Iraq right now. But for every good side of a game, there is a bad side. Reflex is fun to play, but the graphics could be better. The main problem I discovered was the controls. I used a NYKO pistol to use with the nunchunk and Wii controller and I found it a little challenging. Mapping the bombs to the - and + buttons can be challenging if your main focus is on moving, zooming, and shooting. As for sprinting, I had a hard time having to hold both controllers while trying to hit the A button. So I recomend using the Wii Zapper for any Wii shooter. All in all the game is great. I give it an 8.

What an upgrade. Don't get me wrong I still love World at War; even more than this one..............for now. The game is definetely growing on me the better I get. Just like World at War I bought this specifically for the online multiplayer. It is in many ways just pure awesomeness. The amount of different games to choose from other than the old "death match" is incredable. It is almost certain you will find one you like. Another huge accomplishment I think that has to be congratulated is the lag time. In reference to waiting in lobbys for a match to start, finding the right match, and overall in game lag is now gone. The fact that they put in a region option to speed things up is huge, and my hats off to whomever thought of it. As for cons I only really have one issue. And this is in "my oppinion only", but the graphics are not as well as they were in World at War. Great game over all, Very realistic especially with the zapper. Makes you feel like you are right there.

I have COD Finest Hour for the Gamecube. So when I got my Wii and seen COD Modern Warfare Reflex was avaiable it was a must have. It took a while to find a control layout I liked. I bought a Zapper for it and didn't find it easy to use, so I went back to the controller/nunchuck only. I might try a Perfect Shot, but don't know if I want to spend the money on another thing I might not like, especially since I already love the game w/o it. I haven't had the Wii for long so it does take a while getting used that type of control, but it's a fun challenge. I have played this game on the PS3 and found the Wii version to be just as good. I haven't played the multi-player on the Wii yet because I have no friends and no internet connection. Just kidding, I have one friend. The available options to customize the game to your liking are many and something very nice to have to make it just right for you. I don't buy many games and this one is definately worth the purchase.

this death defiying army game goes all out it was so wicked it took me 6 tries to finish the training section once you enter the world of call of duty modern warfare you cant deny the feeling of loving it if your likie me and you like playing diferent types of games but you haven't tried this you really should try it if you quit the first time like me but don't go back and try again you are out of luck and fifty dollars if you enter the online segment of it you enter a whole new demention of fun but if you manage to run into me you might just lose all you kills if you don't like this game start out slow and get call of duty one and work your way up but if you like blood, dead bodies, guns, gernades, snipers, helicopters, and shooting things then get this game and for those of you who have it but can't get past training here's a tip you don't have to get 1 minute or less u can do what i did and get 1 minute and 24 seconds
Rated 10 out of 10 by WWE jordan THE BEST WII GAME YET
I love this game because you finally get call of duty 4 modern warfare for wii.It is just like the xbox and ps3 version but in call of duty world at war the wii version is missing 3 levels nazi zombies, black cats, and a tank level. Also the online is better than world at war because of the guns and it has 10 people in one game and world at war has 8.The online play is the best compared to all other games for the wii.Now i also like from the other game (world at war) you get to have freinds and invite people to games.Another cool part is that you get more than 6 or 7 matches compared to world at war becasue world at war has team deathmatch, boot camp (team deatmatch for players level 8 and lower),free for all, hardcore free for all, hardcore team deathmatch, and team survival. So that gives call of duty modern warfare reflex alot more matches including all of the matches in world at war except team survival and call of duty modern warfare reflex adds sabotage, headquaters, domination, search and destroy, hardcore search and destroy, cage match, old school free for all and more.
Rated 10 out of 10 by richrmoore not a "Soap" opera...
Pardon the pun, but it was kind of odd playing a character named "Soap". CoD: Modern Warfare quickly became one of my favorite shooters (and shooters are my favorite games). I borrowed it from my son-in-law and played through it and like it so much I went out and bought my own (used) copy. I like that the instructional part (along with the "test" to determine the best difficulty level for you to try) was relatively short and placed well in the storyline. The storyline is believable and interesting. The action can heat up quickly. I admit that I was completely surprised by having one of my characters killed off, and I'm not sure I really like that. Seems he could have been saved for joint operations, like Griggs was. And I do not particularly care for the long sequence where the one guy is carried through the town and finally executed. That's a lot of time spent doing nothing, too much so for an action game, even if it does provide background info. But the rest of the game more than makes up for it and I found some sequences very difficult and challenging. All in all a great game.

This game is a great step up for the wii! There are not many first person shooters out for the wii. The campain is fun but it ends to fast. As your killing people, geting intel and working with your teammates you will have a blast! You can also unlock arcade by beating the game. Arcade mode is the same campain but you get scored and have your high scores! My favorite thing is the online mode. In the online mode you can unlock and select a game mode to play with people from around the world! You can unlock new guns, perks, camo and challenges. But after the campain and being on the online mode a while, this game gets a little boring. I also wish that they made this game for the wii speak. But still, this game is amazing for the wii!! If you are a call of duty fan then this is a must buy! If you are a wii owner with online then this is a must buy!! I love this game and I am sure you wii too!!!
Rated 10 out of 10 by gfb AMAZING!!!!
When i first heard about this game coming out i was very spectacle about it. Once I got it I popped it into my wii and haven't played a different game since. I expected the graphics to be really bad for the game but I was surprised to find that they weren't tht much worse than this game was on xbox. The the storyline is great as a call of duty game always is and so is the sound... it makes you feel like you're actually in a battle. The only thing i don't like about the game is the sniping. It is extremely hard to snipe in this game because you either move too slow or too fast. If you don't like snipers you would be very happy with this because it discourages sniping. I love how they added all of the game modes from the xbox and ps3 version. My 2 favorites are headquarters and team deathmatch because it is really easy to get xp in them. All in all I would highly recommend buying this game.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Shred Head Keep 'em coming Wii!
The wii doesnt always have the best games out all the time, but this game freakin makes up for a lot of failures. i mean come on, if you love world at war, you cant not dislike this game! the story mode is cool, but who cares! (i mean unless you reallly care) but its all about the multiplayer!!! which rocks! theres always a full lobby (mainly beucase its new) there are so much more fun game modes and stages! i will be on for hours playing this game, exspecially if your good at it ;) the grapics have been upgraded from world at war, thats the least you can ask for nowadays with wii. and the controls are better too! the wii zapper doesnt help. if you dont have it and want it for this game, dont do it. try a different gun for the wii or just learn how to use it regular style, which is better. the game might not live up to the xbox and ps3 version, but hey, its worth it when your looking for good games for the wii. so i say to wii, keep the good games coming. i think they are making a real effort to at least make so really good games that ppl with a wii will love, and this is one of them
Rated 9 out of 10 by majorhippie Best First Person Shooter on Wii
This game owns all of the other first person shooters that have been made on wii. I have the Conduit, cod waw, and Medal of Honor Heroes 2. Reflex has the best storyline of any of them. The only game on wii that has better graphics than this is the Conduit. I love the Dolby Digital addition. It sounds like the RPGs are actually whizzing past your head. The variety of weapons is pretty cool. If you can think of a modern weapon its probably on there. The online multiplayer is pretty good, but the squadmate mode is a little disappointing. I wish that it was split screen but its not, the second players aiming rectile just floats around on the first player screen. The online reminded me a little too much of COD5. This is not nearly as good as the call of duties on 360 or ps3. But i have to give infinity ward a thumbs up. Now hurry up and make modern warfare 2 for wii!!!
