LOVED this game! It is definitely my most favorite hunting game on Wii and even the nongame playing spouse found it engaging and fun to play. The storyline can easily be completed in short order but is still fun and engaging and utilizes the use of the Wii platform very well. I started out using the Top Shot Elite, but quickly reverted to just a nunchuck and wiimote while chilling on the couch. The vision on the gun isn't necessary and I wasted a ton of time trying to look for animals that still just ended up attacking me. Just keep the scope next to you and pick it up when you might want to use it.
The rail style arcade shooting is where this game shines. The medals are reasonably challenging to get and the co-op mode is really fun. Love the variety in the game and the different options in the gameplay. Very easy and intuitive to play. Definitely a must have for a video game hunting enthusiast!

This was a very good Game! I got this at Cabela's yesterday for 60 dollars with the game and the Elite. The Elite is a special gun with a speciel scope wich you use when you are using Hunters sence. Hunters sence shows you hidden objects and Dangers such as. Wolves, lions, snakes, crocs, chettas, bears, and alot more. You get 5 diff guns. Pistol,(Has invinity bullets) Shot gun, Rifle with scope, Crossbow with scope, and a high powerd rifle. So overall this game was probabley the best hunting game I've ever had. Even tho some people say"This game "SUCKS" you don't even hunt in it." Well I have to dissagree......This game is a hunting adveture at its worst piont of Danger. So don't listen to the other comments! Buy this game! Its Dangerous!!!!

I got this game as a Christmas present. It is a really fun game. I spend most of the time in the Galleries trying to get the highest score. When I play the campaign however, I do not like the controls you use. It feels really weird having to hold the gun controller and turn with it in order to turn in the game. The Campaign does have a really great storyline though. I just can't get used to the controls. Too much COD, I guess.

Cabelas dangerous hunts 2011 is a average(boring) game. Cabelas dangerous hunts is not fun to me because well there are only a couple fun parts. Sure its fun to kill the bosses like the big grizzly but everything else is pure lame to me.

Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 was a game that I thought for sure that I would enjoy. I had done all of my research about the game and was ready to buy it. Eventually, after finally owning a copy, I was ready to have some serious fun. I only played the game with the Wii remote and Nunchuk so I am not sure what the Top Shot Elite was like in the game. The game starts out as you 10 years after your brother was attacked by wolves durring hunting in Africa with your father and his friend, Becky. You hear about "the Beast" who is the most evil creature of all mankind and is more deadly than human and what not. You can already tell the story isn't one of the game's highlights. You constantly get stranded in the most random places on the planet. The controls worked great and every cut sceen was fully voice acted which I found nice. But since the game has a pathetic story line, and the game is about 5 hours of gameplay, it wouldn't be worth very much. However, this game is MUCH cheaper than when I got the game. I got the game without the gun for $40. That is WAY too much to ask for. Plus, if you bought the bundle, the game would be $60 which makes me want to scream. Also, durring the levels, there are certain places in your area that only have one kind of enemy until you make it to the next part of the level. For example, my boat crashed and now I need to find civilization and get help. I see a bunch of rattlesnakes. I get out my pistol and shoot all of them again and again and again for about 15 minutes. Then I enter another part of the level. I see a few crocodiles hiding in the grass. I shoot all of them with my shot gun. Next I see a bunch of Cheetahs in the trees. I shoot all of those. The line of animals repeats in the same order. Starting with rattlesnakes, crocodiles, cheetahs, rattlesnakes, crocodiles, cheetahs. You get the picture. What I DID like about the game was the shooting galleries. They had many fun multiplayer arcade-like shooting galleries that everyone will enjoy. I suggest if you wanted something better than Cabela's Big Game Hunter, then I suggest you try this one. Just keep in mind that the game won't last long for you and you will notice how the game falls apart the more you get into it. Thank you for reading this VERY LONG review. Sorry for the length.
