I don't see what's so bad
Sure the controls are a bit finicky at first but once you get used to them they work really well. The characters are a bit rough around the edges and the music sucks but that's not a big deal since you can simply turn it off. I bowl on a team (in real life) and playing this game helped me straighten out my shot and actually bowl better. I have an average of around 140 and going back to Wii Sports brought it down to 85. So I prefer this game.

encellent game with wonderful graphics
i have had this game for a month and love it. i am a avid bowler and could not believe how real this game felt, i felt like i was at the alley bowling. I like the fact the lane conditions change it makes for a real challenge just like being at the alley bowling myself

Decent
This game is very hard to get the hang off. There are a lot of different supplies to chose from when you do season, but you can only use two balls. The controls are very easy, but it is hard to find out where to throw your ball. Your ball will go to the same place you aim almost every time you throw. I've had the game for a while and i still am not great. I got one 300 game but never went back up to that. Your ball will not be consistent every "week" in season. It is very fun to play against other players, but not online. If you like bowling a lot like me i would recommend this game to you. The stats of the ball really help you know what your ball will do and how it will react. This game is very aggravating when you don't do so good. I still like this game i would recommend this game.

Not for the faint of heart
I wanted a game that was way more realistic than Wii Bowling and that's what I got! This game just flat out kicks the other bowling games butts! However, this is also not for the casual bowling fan as it will bring far too many memories of their 70 pin games at the local lanes. At first I was having a bit of a time adjusting to the spares but I realize the key to the straight ball was a slower more controlled motion and from then on out I have had no issues picking up 10 pin spares. The physics are also good and way more realistic than Wii bowling so it presents more of a challenge than your typical arcade style game and certainly isn't a game that you can hit 175+ within a few games. I can also say that my scores in this game were within 10 pins of my real life games (right around 200/600) so it's every bit of what I expected. As for the graphics, they're wii graphics so they're decent but nothing to rival the PS3 or XBOX 360 (reality is game play matters more than anything). With all that said, if you're a fan of real life bowling and you love to play in leagues then this really is a game you should give a try, if you're a casual fan that has no interest in bowling in the real world then stick to wii bowling.

Wii Bowling is 100% Better
This game is horrible. I took it back the same day. Don't even think about throwing a straight ball even when trying to pick up a spare. Create a player give you like three choices on shirt, shoes, and ball. The whole first year you have to use a house ball. You would think that the biggest name in bowling would have put more pride and thought into this game. DO NOT Buy. Play wii bowling or wait for someone to finally make a realistic fun bowling game. Or buy a used copy and then take back when done realizing it is not very fun. It only gives like ten sites to bowl at during career mode even though in regular bowling there is over 40 tournaments in the bowling season. And the realistic lane changing throughout the game, how do you tell when you ball never goes were you want it anyways.

Brunswick Pro Bowling by Crave
Stay away from this game for the Wii. You are unable to change names for multiple players and this game has many other shortcomings. Worst bowling game I have ever played. There aren't any English instructions and if you want customer service there is none. I haven't had any replies after multiple calls nor have I received any response to multiple emails requesting English instructions and haven't had any response on other queries. After having browsed other comments on this game on quite a few sites, I can see I am not alone in my assessment of this badly compiled game. Most people who have purchased this game have given it the thumbs down. The game itself is sluggish and has no imagination when it comes to player selection. There is no quality in the graphic components. Stick with Wii sports bowling. That's a bowling game which albeit has a lack in player graphic detail is what a bowling game should be. I rate this game MINUS 90.

ITS SO HARD
this game is terrible. everytime i go to the line the ball always curves no matter what. you have no control over the ball. in career mode it takes a year to have enough money to buy anything but a house ball. i would not recommend this game to anybody. also in career mode you get three options for your hair, shirt, pants, shows, color of hair, etc. i returned this because the game is nothing like wii bowling(which i though it would) so for parents who are tired of wii bowling and want to get their kids something esle this is not the right choice. brunswick is the king of bowling and they really let everyone down on this game. when you play the computer there are 11 options that can vs you and they all play this game with ease well im over here over hooking the ball from the far right.

Keep playing Wii Bowling!
This has a similar feeling to Wii bowling but with different graphics. You get to choose from a very few select characters who lack creativity. The game says it is 'highly customizable', unfortunatly that means you can change the color of the bowlers shirt, and change his shoes- i would call that customizable, not highly customizable. Along with each character are their custom voices for phrases when they do something in the game- like get a strike or get a gutter ball. Two comments on the bowlers voices: 1- theres only one recording for each occurance (so if you get a gutter ball, that same recording will play). 2- some of the characters say rude or unnessesary words or phrases for children to hear in a game. If you wish to have a different background than Wii Bowling, choose this game.
