Product Details:

Bleach: Shattered Blade brings an exciting fighting game to the Wii that takes full advantage of its control system. Wielding the controller as their weapon, players will slash and jab like a real Zanjutsu master. The 32 available characters all have personal fighting styles, as well as special attacks to master which mirrors what is seen in the TV series. In addition to battling through Story Mode, based on the popular series, the game also features Arcade mode, and a Versus mode for battling against friends.

  • First-hand fighting experience. Players wield the controller as their weapon, slashing and jabbing like a real Soul Reaper on a solo journey or against an opponent.
  • Exclusive storyline with eight episodes. These original branching storylines were created exclusively for the Wii and bring endless replay value. Additionally, once a player unlocks new characters they can replay various episodes and the new characters will bring a whole new dimension to the storyline.
  • Special characters created by the original author. Players will get a sneak preview of unlockable characters that are not yet revealed in the TV series. The Manga author created a Bleach character exclusively for the game.
  • Large cast of popular characters. Players will select from 32 of their favorite characters from the anime series. Each character has unique special attacks and techniques and is voiced by the actor from the anime series.
  • Special attacks to master. Players can inflict super powered attacks or summon supernatural enemies on opponents with special weapons and super power attacks taken directly from the TV series.
  • Authentic Anime Experience with Cell-shading. The highly stylized cell-shaded look delivers the anime style the fans love.
  • Go head to head in 3D arenas. Players experience a full range of movement as they square off with an opponent in 3D environments based on settings from the series.
  • Tons of unlockable content. The game features many unlockable characters, costumes, dialogue and more to satisfy even themost ardent Bleach fan. Additionally, many characters have unique unlockable dialogue exchanges that occur only when interacting with a character they are closely associated with.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from You are the reaper Soul Reaper that is. You can select between 32 playable bleach characters straight from the Anime. Also Tudo-San has created a unique character for the game. I like playing as Ichigo (of course), Kenpachi (tank within a tank, built around a nuke), and sort of Renji. The story mode is a little short, but at least they have several stories to keep you entertained. Also, you could get a friend to battle it out with you for fun. All in all, I reccomend this game to both Bleach fans, and fighter genre fans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Game is a Bleach BOSS Game I love this game alot but every time i try to unlock Kename Tousen by playing aracade mode with Sajin Komamura it dosen't work but other then that is awesome. My favorite characters to use are Byakuya Kuchkiki, and Soi Fon. This game is awesome!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Easy. Yeah, this game was awesome, especially since I loved Bleach at the time I played this, but it was way too easy to win. All you have to do is hold A and flick the Wii remote and you can win easy, since A attacks cannot be blocked. Plus you can just flick the remote as fast as you can for an insanely fast combo. To offset matches from becoming infinite slash fests, they gave you a meter that depletes with each attack you do, and it'll deplete quickly if you continue attacking, but it also recovers quickly whenever you are not attacking to keep gameplay fast. Not only that, but characters do have balance issues such as Grimjow, (however you spell his name, been awhile since I last saw the anime) since he is insanely powerful and can lay waste to enemies in no time if all you do is A attack. Story is short, and once you beat it, just play arcade mode to unlock the rest of the characters. The controls are not bad, but the Wii remote has problems in detecting the 3 different types of attacks you can do. Vertical slash, Horizontal slash, and Thrust. The Wii remote isn't sensitive enough to accurately tell which move you are doing all the time. Sometimes it'll work, other times (which happens too often) will give you a completely different attack. Newcomers to fighting games would love to play this, but hardcores gamers such as myself will be disappointed. It wasn't bad, but it was too easy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bleach deserves better than this Big let down after a few hours of playing. Finished the game in a few hours easy. It was impressive at first , but then it became very tiresome. After you do the story mode there nothing else you can do expect fight with the computer or friends. The sword fighting is horrible! Anyone can win in a sword fight if they just do a strong hit constantly; theres no way to block it and good luck trying to avoid it!! The banki on the other hand gave the game some justice. Nice evenly matched bankis, so no one can just get a certain person and expected to own. The sound and graphic were okay ,but overall dont recommend this to a friend unless they're real beach fans.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This game is.... Awesome Completely awesome its very in depth, the characters are balanced, and The grapics are amazing!the sound is the only thing i was concerned with it just didnt feel right for the mood otherwise it was awesome... although im a big fan of bleach and theres tons of characters in here they only use the most basic ones to get a 10 from me theyd need more characters!however its got grimmjow and Ulquiorra 2 great additions to the perfect Bleach game.also i loved the new storyline it cuts of from the soul society arc and people fight for the Soukyoku shards which Ukitake And Kyoraku Crushed!people are trying to gain these for power!but at the end of each persons story mode you have to fight a boss named Arturo i think and he's easy.as a bonus after you win with all the characters in story mode you get Arturos Storymode its so awesome i would definetly recommend this for any Person who loves bleach
