You are the reaper
Soul Reaper that is. You can select between 32 playable bleach characters straight from the Anime. Also Tudo-San has created a unique character for the game. I like playing as Ichigo (of course), Kenpachi (tank within a tank, built around a nuke), and sort of Renji. The story mode is a little short, but at least they have several stories to keep you entertained. Also, you could get a friend to battle it out with you for fun. All in all, I reccomend this game to both Bleach fans, and fighter genre fans.

This Game is a Bleach BOSS Game
I love this game alot but every time i try to unlock Kename Tousen by playing aracade mode with Sajin Komamura it dosen't work but other then that is awesome. My favorite characters to use are Byakuya Kuchkiki, and Soi Fon. This game is awesome!

Too Easy.
Yeah, this game was awesome, especially since I loved Bleach at the time I played this, but it was way too easy to win. All you have to do is hold A and flick the Wii remote and you can win easy, since A attacks cannot be blocked. Plus you can just flick the remote as fast as you can for an insanely fast combo. To offset matches from becoming infinite slash fests, they gave you a meter that depletes with each attack you do, and it'll deplete quickly if you continue attacking, but it also recovers quickly whenever you are not attacking to keep gameplay fast. Not only that, but characters do have balance issues such as Grimjow, (however you spell his name, been awhile since I last saw the anime) since he is insanely powerful and can lay waste to enemies in no time if all you do is A attack. Story is short, and once you beat it, just play arcade mode to unlock the rest of the characters. The controls are not bad, but the Wii remote has problems in detecting the 3 different types of attacks you can do. Vertical slash, Horizontal slash, and Thrust. The Wii remote isn't sensitive enough to accurately tell which move you are doing all the time. Sometimes it'll work, other times (which happens too often) will give you a completely different attack. Newcomers to fighting games would love to play this, but hardcores gamers such as myself will be disappointed. It wasn't bad, but it was too easy.

Bleach deserves better than this
Big let down after a few hours of playing. Finished the game in a few hours easy. It was impressive at first , but then it became very tiresome. After you do the story mode there nothing else you can do expect fight with the computer or friends. The sword fighting is horrible! Anyone can win in a sword fight if they just do a strong hit constantly; theres no way to block it and good luck trying to avoid it!! The banki on the other hand gave the game some justice. Nice evenly matched bankis, so no one can just get a certain person and expected to own. The sound and graphic were okay ,but overall dont recommend this to a friend unless they're real beach fans.

This game is....
Awesome Completely awesome its very in depth, the characters are balanced, and The grapics are amazing!the sound is the only thing i was concerned with it just didnt feel right for the mood otherwise it was awesome... although im a big fan of bleach and theres tons of characters in here they only use the most basic ones to get a 10 from me theyd need more characters!however its got grimmjow and Ulquiorra 2 great additions to the perfect Bleach game.also i loved the new storyline it cuts of from the soul society arc and people fight for the Soukyoku shards which Ukitake And Kyoraku Crushed!people are trying to gain these for power!but at the end of each persons story mode you have to fight a boss named Arturo i think and he's easy.as a bonus after you win with all the characters in story mode you get Arturos Storymode its so awesome i would definetly recommend this for any Person who loves bleach

BANKAI!!!!!!!
Bleach:The Shattered Blade is a fun, if basic, fighter for Wii.There is a good variety of characters to choose from, each with their own distinct fighting style, and power-up, activated by shaking the nunchuk controller like a madman. There are like 3 in-game controls:swinging the remote 2 different ways plus the power-up, as I just explained. There are "special" characters, but they're WAY too hard to play as.The storyline is different for each character, but sadly boils down to the same thing for everyone:gather Sokyoku shards for a good purpose, only to find out you have been tricked into reviving a super-powerful Arrancar who instantly tries to kill you.All the actors from the Bleach anime provide voices for this game, which for once suprised me.Anyway...this is a great game.I highly recommend it to Bleach fans!

Not the best, but the only one
If you're a fan of BLEACH and the Wii, then you HAVE to pick up this specific Bleach Wii game, mainly because, it's the only BLEACH game for the Wii! XD BLEACH Shattered Blade is quite a fun game, with a few flaws. One is the storyline...not the best. You fight 9 people, you beat the boss, then it's over, and you have to do this 8 times, at least!!! Now, if you like beating people up without much of a story behind why you're doing this, then this is a good thing for you! :D Now the thing that really bugs me is that you have to go through Hanataro Yamada's story at least once to unlock the following story, twice to unlock some character voices you can view in the gallery (extras). The reason why this stinks is because Hanataro's sword heals his opponent the moment it hits them! But if you can deal with these things and battle 20 fights as a guy who cant use his weapon to fight, then no worries, and good for you! :D The game has a nice collection of 32 Characters, 42 if you count the secret costumes that 10 characters get! The voices are the same from the show, excluding Ulqiorra, whose voice is much deeper in this game. Another cool thing about this game is that you get to play as 2 Arrancar (unlike the other American BLEACH titles, which had 0 Arrancar) and a BLEACH: Shattered Blade exclusive character! :D Now, i beat this a while ago, but i still play it now just for fun, mostly because it's still the only BLEACH Wii game in North America, but if you're a BLEACH fan who enjoys shaking the Wii Controller and Nunchuck to slash and defeat your enemies, and if you are good enough to win fights as a character who has to roll to damage his opponents, then this $** game is for you! :D Well, Sayonara! ^o^

Worst anime game of all time
I was surprised at all the things that were lacking in this game. It had a horrible storyline and it was too short. The characters dont have enough health and the bankai doesnt stay very long. On characters like hanatro and inoue there is no way they can beat a person like ichigo. The graphics were okay and so were the voices but a disappointment to any anime fan. It didnt have enough modes and after you beat the storyline there was nothing left to do. I expect more from this game. The controls were fun. The storyline took me about 2 hours and a half to finish. If you like a game just to hack and slash at then this is your game. To all bleach fans dont buy the game if you really want to play it just borrow or rent it. The next game is so much better hopefully it comes out in america its called bleach crusade rivals.
