Back to the Future
The game is not based on the movies. It take splace 6 months after marty returns from the old west at the end of the third movie. The game is split into 5 episodes and each episode is like another movie. The story is amazing, and the puzzles are well thought out. Some of them simple, others pretty difficult. But if you do get stuck there is a hint function that can tell u what you need to do. The only thing bad bout the game is the graphics. They are a little dated to begin with, and the frame rate is a little slow so its kind of laggish, and the charachters frequently fell out of sync with the voice actors. But overall, it's a pretty good game, as long as you can get passed the graphics.
Back To The Future:The Game
This game is has a different story/plot than the other movies in the trilogy. This game lives up to its expectations. It brings back everything I remember and loved form the movies before it.
Catch a Preveiw Buzz !! : )
WOW,it took long enough! For 19.99 I'm not sure what to expect, best bet wait a week or so and buy used,at least you could bring it back in a week if the game ain't good.Anyway though it all comes down to the gameplay,we all know the story and characters are solid!(lego version would be cool). If the games got marty, doc and biff what more could you ask for.As long as the gameplay is decent I see this game being a cult classic.Lets just hope they took their time and made a good game. The price has me worried though, could you really pack in all three movies(50's,future,old west) into one solid game? I guess we'll find out.I will definately check this game out,but you better beleive I'm getting a used copy! Have fun fellow gamers and stay tuned...
cool didnt see that one comin
the movies my dad loves a lot so at one point or another i watched each one with him and i think they're pretty good . But they're old so what i dont get is that just the 1st game takes this long 2 come out . I dont know wut it is they're gonna do to make this particular movie series into a game series but it hopefully will be cool . fingers crossed ... : )
It looks GOOD
i hope it is as good as the movie. they better not mess it up whit this game so it better be good or more than grate i hope its awesome
The game is awesome
This game has 5 episodes and each episode has one main objective to complete and you have other objectives to finish the one main objective. The game brings back some parts from the movie. The game is like parts 4,5,6,7,and8
Can not wait!
This game feels like the movies. So much fun and timeline foolery.
My Algebra teacher is going to LOVE this:)
This looks really cool. One classic movie turning to one of the most storied franchises in Nintendo to make a Wii game is really cool. The fun part could be comparing the movie to the game. The really cool thing would be if the game has all three parts of Back to the Future on the game. Game On!!!
I..... cant........ wait......... much...... LONGERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! I love the Back to the Future movies so this game better be good! I hope they base most of the levels of the movie instead of totally messing it up. But I must get this game! (Thank God my birthday is in October!) I just hope they make II and III!
Back to the Future: Parts IV, V, VI, VII and IX
Back to the Future was one of the best trilogies ever made, nobody can change facts. Ironically, the franchise hasn't had any big changes since the late 80s. There were a few games made in the 80s, but they were all terrible. I was almost drained of my hope for the chance of having a good BttF game until this one came around. I was soo surprised and happy that telltale got to make this, because they made a great game.
First off, you should know the story of the trilogy before you start the game (better break out the old VHS tapes and have a marathon with the kids), because you will be lost if you don't know how the series left us back in 1989. The game starts around 6 months AFTER the trilogy left us, and you have 5 chapters to play through. Each of the chapters have puzzles to solve, and If you aren't getting it, there are hints to help you along the way. There was a lot of humor, the voice acting was outstanding, and the music was from the movies. I loved the chapters and I thought they were all great.
MY ONLY COMPLAINT is the graphics. When you were playing the actual game it wasn't that bad, but the cutscenes were pretty terrible. The mouths were out of sync with the voices, and you'd have that weird feeling like you were playing an unfinished game. Wii has some decent graphics, so I wouldn't blame it on Nintendo. I think because telltale had a very limited budget, they did an okay job with the resources they had.
The only reason I said this game was for casual gamers is because you can't say it's for everyone. Hardcore gamers may like the fact it's from the best movies ever, but the graphics will take away from their enjoyment. Also the control scheme isn't normally used by games directed to hardcore gamers. Anybody who liked this series and has a Wii SHOULD get a chance to play it, though
