Product Details:

Featuring a remarkable wireless controller and experience, the Nintendo Wii console invites players into game worlds and activities like never before. Whether they're young or old, expert gamers or beginners, Wii players will express themselves with intuitive motion control using the Wii Remote: a flick of the wrist to to swing a baseball bat or tennis racket, a backswing and follow-through to send a golf ball flying over a pristine fairway. Wii also taps into Nintendo's unrivaled legacy of great games with the Virtual Console. Connecting via wireless broadband to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Wii owners will be able to spend Virtual Console points to download selected classic games from NES, Super NES and N64 video game consoles. And through Wii Connect24, owners will be able to access even more content. Four-player compatibility as well as the ability to compete with other Wii players over broadband internet means that Wii offers a true social experience.

The Wii MotionPlus in the base of the Wii Remote controller combined with the accelerometer and sensor bar provides an experience that gives players an even greater sense of immersion.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not fully functional So, I ordered this as a replacement wii for my son for Christmas. We have quite a few accessories, including multiple game-cube controllers. We backed up our wii channels (Super Mario 3, Zelda) etc which lend themselves to a controller. The top of the Wii unit is completely closed off, making the controller ports inaccessible (this was supposed to a completely functional unit). Needless to say, I am sending back. Maybe I should just buy a wii u.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as advertized Bought this for myself and was disappointed. The image about was for the older models with the Gamecube ports on the top, but instead was sent the newer models that lay flat that do not have the compatibility or ports. That was the main reason for getting it, they should have the proper images and details instead of the stock images.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, good price. The wii came with a few blemishes but none of them impede it's performance, overall works great, price online is perfect but they charged me extra at the store when I went to buy it. Still great system, recommended!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for a wii but not as depicted The wii model sent to me was not the one in the picture, receive the horizontal model instead of this vertical one which means no gamecube games and controller ports which was half the reason i wanted it, but for a wii and only to that purpose is works just fine

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get this amazing Product!!! I bought this product in march of 2008 for 200 dollars, i then sold it for 50 dollars in 2013 to purchase a PC game that was a huge let down that i couldn't return. and i am since to own one of these magnificent little machine's since 2013. For a console the WII is waaaay better than the wii u as in form factor processing power and durability is different though because the wii u has way better power conservation than the WII and has a better processor, yet again the wii u came out in 2012 and the WII came out in 2005 (2004 to be technical) and was in the start of design in 2002 so you can see the huge difference in technology that's possible with the new stuff. But either way for the time the original WII was my go to console so i wish i still had one. Another reason i miss the WII is because it gave a boost in popularity to some of the most iconic nintendo franchises such as mario kart and Zelda both of those games i loved for what they were. not for the graphics but for my love of nintendo stuff, but my point is i miss the WII and i never should have gotten rid of it and for this great deal i think if you have the money i recommend it to you :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Third-party non-matching Wii Remote & Nunchuck I ordered this in Black expecting to receive a Nintendo brand black remote and nunchuck. I would be fine with it being used of course, but what I received was third-party remote, in white that doesn't calibrate as quickly as an official Nintendo remote. The Nunchuck received is also generic, works, but the Z button has clearly been mashed to the point where it doesn't "click" when you press it. The Wii itself is in awesome shape, but it isn't worth $90 when you don't even get a game and the remote is garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My second Wii. Check out one of my most recent reviews to know what happened to my first Wii. This Wii was an early birthday present a few months after my original Wii broke down. This is good. I may prefer the Wii U but I didn't get a Wii U until a few months ago. I haven't used my Wii since I transferred over my save data from my it to my Wii U. I belive it was the cheap price compared to the PS3 & Xbox 360 is why they were steamrolled( Nintendo won the last console gen & showed Sony they are real competition fololowing PSP getting Steamrolled in sales by the DS) The funds from this success will definitively allow Nintendo running for a while even if they are losing money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Console, just get an XBOX 360 when your 13 The Wii is fun, but it starts getting boring when you turn 12 or 13. Once you reach 11-13, you start wanting more Violent games like T or M games. The XBOX 360 or Play Station 3 is a good choice. But, I'm not putting the Wii down, just gets kinda boring after a while ya know?
