Product Details:

Does Not come with Wii Nunchuk. The Wii Remote is a unique controller for the Wii console. The button pressing of typical controllers is replaced by the natural, fluid motion of your hand. Includes a built-in speaker for a new sound experience that immerses you into the game.

Games are many things to different people. Some see games as gateways to an unknown universe while others see them as extensions of the world around them. Nintendo created Wii to fit everyone's ideal break away from the everyday. The wireless, freehand Wii Remote not only makes games easy to play, it makes them more fun than ever before. Accentuating the sense of touch in the game lets you feel the heat of emotion with each movement. Because up to four players can grab a Wii Remote and play, there's always a party ready to happen with Wii! The Wii Remote frees you from cords and excessive, complicated buttons without sacrificing game play depth. The motion sensors contained within the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk controller add totally new interactions to existing games while opening doors for new genres. Wii makes your senses come alive!
Wireless and motion-sensitive, the Wii Remote offers an intuitive, natural way to play games. The controller plays into the conventional motions you make everyday. When you hit a drum, swing a tennis racket or swing a bat, why should you have to press a button to replicate these things? With the Wii Remote, you can use everyday motions to help make you the center of the game. Nintendo designed the Wii Remote to be the most multifaceted gaming device ever. It can be a sword for one game and then a steering wheel for racing games. It's your paintbrush, your golf club, your airplane, but most of all, it's your key to unlocking a world of fun you've never imagined.
The Wii Remote senses your every action and makes you feel less like a player and more like you're part of the game. With Wii, anyone can play. Up to four Wii Remotes can be used at a time.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's by Nintendo... What did you expect? I don't know why everyone is so amazed. I learned long ago that Nintendo (usually) only makes good stuff. All I would do is lower the price. Great experiences, though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great remote The Nintendo Wii remote is a great value. The design of the remote is cool, the performance is great, and its an amazing value.Theres not much more to say about this remote other than its totally worth having.I do think the Wii afterglow remote is better...but barely. so on that note,1 through 10,the Nintendo Wii remote is a perfect 10 of 10.Great remote.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh... Most reveiws say "oh just a normal controller" or "its perty good" but it's not very great. As far as price, I think they should knock it down to 25 bucks, because with current technology it has nothing going for it. I don't like that it has no joysticks, and the joystick converters don't work good, are hard to find, and are too expensive. Sometimes the wiimote works really cool, like when it is sideways and in some cases switching how you hold it, but when you hold it like a remote, and you need the home,1,2, +, or - buttons they can be a pain to reach. Plus the cursor gets all jumpy alot, and i can't use it for most games unless I am RIGHT next to the TV, which gives me a massive headache. Sorry wiimote, you're a pile of junk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nothing more than a controller ... Its good it works like its supposed too... but I dont like all that much that you have to aim it at the sensor a whole lot ... It doesnt really ever mess up though so yeah its pretty good overall ... : )

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The simple Wii Remote. The Wii remote is essential for anybody with a Wii, obviously. The simple Wii Remote (not the wii remote plus) is inexpensive, making it easy for most people to always have four Wii Remotes. What really makes the Wii Remote unique is the way pressing buttons and rapidly fiddling with joysticks is replaced with the simple, natural movement of your hand. Another unique addition to the Wii Remote is the built-in speaker, which will play sound affects while you are playing a game. Of course, you are able to buy a Wii Remote Plus, but to save money it is best to just go with the classic, simple wii remote.
