Run & Gun FanBoys... GO AWAY!
You would think when you search your memory for games gone by.. We'd be a little more appreciate of the gaming industry and its progress. I read my first ZombiU review on a "unnamed site" - and to be honest.. I was turned away from the game with all the whining and complaining. Then I come to Gamestop's gamer reviews page and read all the compliments and the good things about ZombiU...... Listen to the compliments. Sure this game is not perfect, though, no game is perfect. I'm into this game for five minutes and I realize.. Hey--- I don't have a gun.. I felt helpless.. Though it felt good not to have an AK47 with 350 rounds ready to fire.. I felt truely as if I was in a fight or flight situation. Then I realize that my Gamepad is the only access I have to a map, my flashlight and my inventory.. Having to scan your eyes back and forth from the TV to the Gamepad TRUELY makes this an incredible experience alone. Ya know those games where you get to pause the game and change weapons, heal yourself, reload and magically unfreeze time? Forget those days.. At least for now. All digging through your inventory, changing weapons, turning your flashlight on and off, etc. is done by Gamepad only. A-MAZING! The saving system allows you to nap in safe areas and you awake, I assume, hours later refreshed and with a newly saved game file. Though I do have a fair share of complaints... this game THRIVES when you plug in your headset to your Gamepad and turn out the lights. I was upset to find out when I plugged in my headset and changed my audio settings to "headphones only".... It wasn't that loud.. Should be a way to fix that. Oh well. The player movement CAN feel a little clunky and tank-like at times.. Sprinting into walls and getting hung in doorways. I'm not even a quarter of the way through the game and I feel like the survival horror genre has taken a step in the RIGHT direction for a change. So with a few MINOR complaints and a cart full of compliments... I'll simply say, if you want the survival horror genre back.. Invest in this game. What's really sad to think.. The WiiU did something in its first year of existence that the 360 and PS3 have did only a handful of times in their multi-year life span. Nintendo.. You FINALLY have my support.. Great system, great game.. I hope there's more to come.

Great Game
This game is great. Anyone who likes survival horror will really enjoy this game. It has a great story. Bashing zombies heads with my cricket bat is really fun. You should get this game if you haven't yet.

Great, but could be better.
ZombiU is a innovative game for zombie survival. However the game would be better if new zombies, weapons, and more players for multiplayer were added. I do give zombiU credit for being the first console game I've seen were you can spawn enemies to attack other players with an classic zombie game feel mixed with a new one. I hope they add DLC or updates!!!!!

One of the best Wii U launch games
zombiu is a fun survival-horror game that was created by Ubisoft fo Wii U's launch. I'll run briefly over thegame. PRESENTATION: The graphics aren't that great. They don't seem fit for HD. On the good side, the story is good, and the sound adds layers to the atmosphere. 7.5. GAMEPLAY: It is one of my favorite survival-horror games. It has good controls and fun combat. 10. REPLAYABILITY: the game is very long, and there is a lot of reasons to go back to areas. On the other hand, One part of the story seems to stop for a little while. 9. Zombiu is a great game that is a must own for Wii U owners.

Repetitive and Broken
This game is one of the most monotonous I have ever played. The firearms on this game are next to worthless, except the more powerful ones that are slow. With the powerful weapons the ammo is so few and far in between there's no point. Pistols take forever to kill an enemy with. Your primary weapon is a cricket bat, which is the most monotonous part. It takes several swings to kill an enemy, and it's not like the attack is graceful. Bat goes up, bat goes down on enemy's head, repeat. There are also several glitches that will stop your game in its tracks. I was affected by one towards the end. Once the glitch happens you can't do anything except start the game over because of the game's autosave.

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, so I borrowed this from a friend, and I have to say, it's way too scary, but way too addicting. I got annoyed by that awful pinging of my radar that I almost broke my own GamePad by force... I mean, the art design is fine, but that stupid guy and the stupid radar won't shut up. Overall, mute your GamePad and TV when playing this great FPS on your Wii U. BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!

Great survival game.
ZombiU is a zombie game that is based on survival skills more than how many zombies you can kill. You start out with a pistol and a cricket bat. You loot suitcases, dumpsters, capinets, and even other zombies. I love how when you die not only do you become a new person, but your old person is now a zombie with all the items you had in your backpack and you have to hunt him or her to get your items back. You can also store items in a large container at your safe house if your backpack is full. Their are many different weapons, and upgrades that enhances your survival experience. The missions in this game are somewhat repetitive and are mainly just their so you can gather more resources. Their isn't much of a story besides trying to find a cure for the infected. The multiplayer in this game was really fun. One player plays as the surviver and the other as the king of zombies in either an assault or killing box mode. I hope Ubisoft makes more games like this for the WiiU. Maybe something like an AlienU. That would be cool!

Clunky and Ehhh..
I loved the trailer and played for hours with one goal, DO NOT DIE. I died and it was really scary but dying ended up being not that big of a deal as people made it seemed, the game ended up being a Zombie paddle slap fest with next to no guns, and if you die, oh well time for a new test dummy... Not the scare I was hoping for and I did not like the controls everything seemed slightly delayed or slow and turning was too fast felt like someone set the sensitivity to COD quick scope mode and instead of a sniper you have a paddle, this game needs a little more work to be $60, I say its ehh ok if you really want it wait till its $20, don't mean to offend any die hard fans of this game, this is just my opinion. Epic gameplay!
I love this game it is the best zombie game ever! I completed every resident evil game twice and RE2 about 4-5 times(except the last two sucked). I'm on my second campaign and I still feel like I'm really trying to survive.....buy the book to go along for assistance if u aren't playing straight through. They rushed this game to get it out for launch so there is few things missing but it's still epic. Will play forever........I haven't had any glitches...

great game
This is by far one of the greatest Wii U games. Not only is it exciting at times but it can also scare you at times. One moment you would be sitting on you couch playing when all of the sudden a horde of zombies are coming after you and you are on you feet hoping that you will survive. If you do survive you get a feeling of accomplished and you are pretty excited. If you don't survive you feel bummed out and mad about it. Easily one of the best games i have ever played!!
