Rated 5 out of 10 by Linkfan06 An average port of an average game.
Watchdogs was a title I had initially looked forward to playing on the WiiU. But as is the case with many third party ports on WiiU? They typically arrive late, lack content, features and get none of the DLC the other platforms get.
WiiU needs third party support but it needs good third party support. Watchdogs on WiiU came out 6 months after it was out on other platforms. It is little wonder its sales suffered for it due to the fact people who had already played it on Xbox or PS4 found it to be an average game at best. Certainly not the next gen defining game Ubisoft had hyped it up to be. But then again that is Ubisoft for you...
If your really looking to play this game and only own a WiiU? Save yourself some money and rent it. If you own another system or PC? play it there.

Watch Dogs has become a hollow shell of the game it was originally meant to be and as a result has taken a huge toll on what you really get when paying the full $60 retail price. Originally set out to be a Wii U exclusive, and a launch title in November of 2012, Watch Dogs was delayed almost 2 years to finish development. As previously released on the Xbox and PlayStation consoles, it was obvious that the game was downgraded immensely from footage shown from the original gameplay trailers. The resolution and framerate also took a massive toll. The game gets even worse when looking at the Wii U version. This port will receive no DLC packs, bonuses, and even cuts sidequests seen in other versions. If you are still considering buying this game even after all the downgrades, get the Xbox or PlayStation version so you at least get the full experience. My final score for this game is a 5/10
Rated 10 out of 10 by freshstevr Best Open World Action Game For Wii U
This Game is really awesome. Honestly the Wii U console needs plenty more games like this games like this one. I really am fascinated by the fact that Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs are in the same universe ( not talking about the fact that they're made both by Ubisoft ). In one of the missions you have to kill this dude who was traveled to Chicago in Assassin's Creed 4, he was the president of Abstergo or something like that. ( Abstergo is the company that is fighting the Assassin's) Well anyways this game has great graphics, although I expected there to be big-brand vehicles like in Gta V but any car is well as long as it goes "vroom" . I think that I'm not the only one that can say that the best part of the game is the open word city that you can control with your phone. So yeah this game is pretty great.

Watch Dogs is an open world game. It's in the same mode of a Grand Theft Auto. But in this game you can hack devices using your cell phone. You can stop traffic lights causing car accidents to stop your opponent in his tracks. You can hack other people's phone to identify your enemies, or save innocent people from vicious criminals. What's a better way to use hacks with your Wii U touchscreen Gamepad displayed as your phone? Their isn't a better way! The Gamepad will make a great touchscreen hacking device. It could also be used as a map when driving, or innovative multiplayer modes. The Wii U version could very well be the best version hands down, if Ubisoft puts in great effort for it. I'm not sure what they are all going to add with the Gamepad, but I'm sure it will be used as a hacking device at the least. Stay tuned for more information from Ubisoft...
Rated 0 out of 10 by Holleauxx What The WII U NEEDS!!!!
I've owned watch dogs on PS4 and the game is amazing. Graphically. gameplay wise and last appeal are there. The wii u needs games like this because all though i love Mario, the wii u needs third party support. If you like saints row or gta, this is a MUST BUY! Ubisoft always has a way off putting there own spin on good ideas and making them better. So the fact they havent abandoned the wii u yet means alot. Supporting this game will also open a door for more games from ubisoft and maybe even other companies. In so many words ubisoft said the games is already made and waiting for more consoles to sale. The sales on this game are important to the wii u's life cycle.
Rated 8 out of 10 by Links Better than GTA
Finally a real rated M title for Wii U and a free roam world. This is the game I have been waiting for. Nintendo have covered all aspects and genres for gaming now. This is better than GTA and really what the Wii U needed. All the Wii U needs is the new upcoming Mortal Kombat and this will be the dream system. I can enjoy the classics and new games all in one system. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you
Rated 0 out of 10 by HappyMaskSalesman Not Cancelled! I'll Support (Wii)U(bi)!
Glad Watch_Dogs ended up not being cancelled. I am truly looking forward to this! Even though Wii U doesn't have the highest install base, the adoption rate is pretty high, since those who have it now are basically just core gamers. Anyway, you should hype this up, Ubisoft! Your previous comments have been like, "Well, this version is in between next and current gen, probably closer to current..." No! Be like Slightly Mad Studios with Project Cars. "Project Cars looks amazing on Wii U and the device is more than capable of delivering the core experience." Anyway, game looks great. Thanks for the 3rd Party support and good luck with your launch.
Rated 0 out of 10 by BBeard A game that should have came out with PS and Xbox
I would have bought the game if it came out with PS and Xbox. Already have beaten the game on a friends PS4 copy. Ubisoft is going to say they can not sell anything on the Wii U. The game came out six months ago! All the people that wanted to play it already have! Stop selling inferior products and maybe people will start buying your games on Wii U
Rated 0 out of 10 by bunnyboy4ever Thanks Ubisoft for saving the best for Nintendo!
You may have been uncertain about needing more time for the Wii U version but False Alarm this is coming out at the same time as the others. the Rabbids series has been almost entirely on the Wii & Wii U( except for that Kinect game) from Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 launching Alongside the Wii,to one of the best Wii games Rabbids go home, to Rabbids Land Launching alongside the Wii U! even though Rayman Legends was kinda a Relationship bump you came by getting into the Year Of Luigi fun by giving Rayman a Mario costume & Globo a Luigi costume! Thank You Ubisoft & don't you think i forgot about Zombii & Zombii U. most of all THANK YOU FOR RABBIDS INVASION!
