Product Details:

Strength in Numbers Earth is under attack from an invasion of enormous aliens, and the only thing that can protect the planet is a group of unlikely, yet mighty, heroes with special abilities. Unfortunately, the aliens are too powerful for the heroes to fight individually. They must join forces and work together to defeat their common enemy. These uniquely different heroes can morph into powerful weapons to crush the invaders or turn into objects like a giant fist or bridge to interact with and traverse the environments.

Centinels' Secret Weapon

The Wonderful 101

Called to stand against an overwhelming enemy, 100 heroes wield the ultimate weapon: Uniting together. Combining their strengths and their very bodies into massive weapons, they can pulverize Earth's invaders with giant fists, swords, and more, transforming to take on any challenge. However, they need one more hero to help Wonder-Red lead all the others: you!

From All Corners...

Behind The Mask

To combat an intergalactic threat, these elite heroes have been strategically deployed all over the world. They have endured the most rigorous training to ready themselves for war. Seeking neither personal fame nor accolades, the Wonderful 100 have sworn never to reveal their true identities.

Wonderful Ones!

UNITE MORPH!

The heroes join together, transforming into many powerful forms.
They deploy their secret weapon against all invaders - the Unite Morph!

The most powerful heroes bring special Unite Morphs to the battle. Each hero leads with unique strengths to provide advantages that thwart different types of foes.

Unite For...

Co-Op Play!

Wonderful Missions take you through a series of challenging, action-packed stages for up to five players* - or one lone hero. Each player leads a Hero Team into a battle of epic proportions.

*The Wonderful 101 supports local multiplayer. Additional accessories required; sold separately.

Wonder-Red

Power: Unite Hand

The young leader of the Wonderful 100, Will Wedgewood is a primary school teacher, but when he's called into action he dons his CENTINEL-Suit and transforms into the superhero Wonder-Red! He wields the Vulcan Knuckles. While he's generally a polite fella, he's also very determined - which has gotten him into trouble a few times before...

Wonder-Blue

Power: Unite Sword

Hooker's a hot-headed detective with the Los Angeles Police Department. In his head he's the typical action hero - cool with an endless supply of one-liners - but that's far from true. His prized Valiantium Blade is said to become sharper with every slash.

Wonder-Green

Power: Unite Gun

There aren't many shooters as sharp as Wonder-Green. He might seem flippant on the surface, but he's a young man with a deep sense of responsibility. With his beloved gun, it's said he can shoot the fleas off a dog's back at 500 yards.

Wonder-Pink

Power: Unite Whip

If it's acrobatics you want, Wonder-Pink can deliver: this Olympic athlete is unmatched in her field, yet somehow still finds time to stay on fashion's cutting edge. Enemies suffer by her Beautiful Whip, made of the newly-developed Belmont alloy.

The Wonderful Ones

There are more Wonderful Ones to discover on your quest to save Earth. Once recruited, they'll stick with you for the rest of the game, so search high and low to add them and their talents to your roster!

GEATHJERK

Destroyers of worlds. Obliterators of solar systems. The GEATHJERK have tried to consume Earth once before, but were stopped by the anti-invasion hyper plasma shield known as the "Margarita". Now, with even more incredible mechanical weapons and countless different alien races in their ranks, they have returned - and only the Wonderful 100 can stop them.

Wonderful Mart

Collect precious O-Parts during levels then spend them in the Wonderful Mart to purchase helpful items, and even upgrade or unlock Unite Morphs. Rumour has it the shop sells even more incredible abilities, but they remain shrouded in secrecy...

  • Players must explore each stage to find helpless citizens and recruit them to join their army of heroes. The more heroes you gather, the greater your Special Morph Powers will be.
  • Players can use the Wii U GamePad's touch screen to command heroes such as Bonzai Man, Vending Machine Man and even Toilet Bowl Man. Heroes can also morph into gelatin to guard themselves from enemy attacks.
  • Players can also use the GamePad to explore areas unseen on the TV screen and solve puzzle elements.
  • PlatinumGames, known for hit titles like Bayonetta and MadWorld, has partnered with Nintendo to apply its unique talent to the development of one of the first games for Wii U.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great game that wasn't for me I appreciate the game and I think many people will love it, but it just wasn't for me. The art and story seem to be great, but I would have preferred not to draw shapes on the GamePad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best wii u game. it's a power rangers game, but not for kids and is super challenging. this is a huge game, and do to sales, it's pretty cheap for the amount of content. this game is if pikimin was an action beat'em up. pikmin + viewtiful joe + okami = wonderful 101. btw, the creaters of 101 also made viewful joe and okami. if the like the medal system in bayonetta, it in wonderful 101 and it's better suited for the game. this game is hilarious, and it is adrenaline pumping. if you think bayonetta is intense, think again. fans of godzilla should also check 101 out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy Awesome Game! This game is hilarious and Awesome action-packed. Once in a boss battle I was holding a hammer and there was a ship being thrown at me! The hammer guy hit the ship with his hammer and it flew straight into the monster and blew him up! Seriously! Also, it is really funny. The hammer guy that killed the boss in the game actually was at a loss for words when trying to come up with a punch line. Instead he ended up looking like he was an idiot. But it wasn't bad, it was hilarious because of the way it happened. Plus, the storytelling is top notch. I won't give away any details, but the action alone is better than Ninja Gaiden and just as good as Legend of Zelda in almost every way. The boss battles are actually better! Crazy game, well worth every penny! Get this game NOW!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This game deserves so much more publicity. I love the large team management/puzzling aspect of Pikmin and I love superheroes. This game is an incredible blend of both of those concepts along with a very unique drawing mechanic. You can trace out shapes with your analog stick and then your team unites together to morph into the weapon or tool that the shape corresponds to. I just finished the main story on normal and I was so surprised by the scope of the plot, the dynamic gameplay, and all the unlockables that appear after you beat the game that I just had to write a review. I consider myself an adept gamer but it even took me a little while to get used to how the game is played. After my first couple of hours I definitely had fun but I was thinking that the story was kind of weird and quirky and it seemed that the game was going to be repetitive and not everything I expected. If this happens to you, make sure you just keep playing! The plot gets better and better and the gameplay just keeps expanding as you unlock more unite morphs and fight against all sorts of different enemies. What really pushed me to write this review was the fact that every time I thought the story was about to come to a nice, satisfactory close, it kept on going and became even greater! Even after you beat the game there are many additional surprises! But I won't spoil anything. Such a well polished game in all aspects. The only thing I really don't like is that when I mention the Wonderful 101, nobody knows what I'm talking about. Completely underrated and deserving of more publicity. Wow, I just wrote an essay haha. Seriously, get the game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful is right Wonderful 101 is a breath of fresh air for gamers everywhere. It's a fun new concept wrapped up in a beautiful high quality presentation. At its core, it's a beat 'em up adventure game. It boils down to learning enemy weaknesses and scoring high hitting combo attacks. You control a group of superheroes who must defend Earth from an outer-space invasion. The controls are innovative and take a little while to learn, and making that effort is rewarded. The controls are tight and become intuitive after investing a little time to learn and practice them. The Wonderful 101 also utilizes many features of Wii U's unique gamepad controller. The music and sound in Wonderful 101 are top notch. It has an over the top attitude and feels like a high quality animation is playing out before you because of the great sound and graphics. Everything about this game is polished and shines quality. All in all, this game breaks new ground and deserves a perfect score for taking gamers somewhere unexpected and WONDERFUL!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This game is insane Sorry for taking so long to write a review, i bought this on day one and just started playing it yesterday. Wow this game is very intense and crazy, do not let the kiddy cover fool you! This game does not hold your hand and all. Its very fast paced. I am playing it on easy and its kinds tough for me. If you are looking for a insane challenge with some good humor, look no further. This game is super overrated! They made a mistake releasing this before GTA V ! Beware the controls do take a little time to get use to!
