Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun game for the Wii U. This game is just awesome the concept of collecting the Pokemon NFC figures to bring them to life in game is cool but the game is a bit too easy if you power up your NFC figures too much but they make great collectibles once you finish playing with them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun for collector's and completionists Pokemon Rumble U is a short little game, where you play as toy pokemon who got lost in a river and are trying to make it back to their toy shop (It's like Toy Story.) Right off the bat, you'll notice that everything is inexplicably shiny (due to the HD graphics), it's something I can appreciate, but nothing too special. The music is very catchy, although a few of the songs are reused from previous games. The gameplay is similar to the previous pokemon rumble games, consisting of using 2 buttons, the "a" and "b" buttons on the gamepad, and the "1" & "2" buttons on the wii remotes. It's a fun multiplayer experience. Now onto the price and figures. First off, the figures, some will say they were sheaply made, BUT you have to consider that they were $4 AND that these are optional. You don't HAVE to invest your money into these (unless you find a shiny). I'm personally, rather fond of them, I like how they look accurate to their wii counterparts (just don't drop them). Second, the price..... I think $18 is a bit much for this short adventure for casual gamers. It's only around 3 hours long (as opposed to it's predecessor, pokemon rumble blast, which was about 30 hours long, and I got it for the same price.), but if you're a completionist like me, you'll easily get 10-15 hours out of this game. But if you include trying to get every figure including shiny pokemon, you'll be investing $90 minimun in figures alone. But, as I said before, they are optional. And when you buy the game at gamestop, make sure you ask if they have the free figure BEFORE you buy it. I got mine just by asking beforehand. If they don't have it, find another gamestop. Overall, Pokemon Rumble blast is a fun game if you're an older pokemon fan, who likes collecting figures and is careful with them, or a completionist who wants to get every pokemon in the game. An 8/10 it's really that good if you invest yourself in it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Game It is a great game for any avid Pokemon fan and for under $20 what's to lose. It is addictive and lasts several hours, and even more so if you try to befriend all of the Pokemon. It is must for any Wii U owner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Short lived fun, thankfully inexpensive Dad of a 4 & 9 year old, this game is simple fun for short attention spans. Little depth of gameplay. The worst thing here is cheaply made figures in blind packages. The free GS figure broke within an hour of light use.
