LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
Lego's Done Right
First of all let me get it out of the way that I absolutely love the fact that on the WiiU you can play separately on the gamepad while another player or two use the TV. This makes the game 100% more enjoyable without the frustration of the rotating/flipping split screen. The graphics look clean and crisp, the gameplay is addictive (for both myself and my kids) and the dialogue is well thought out and quirkily funny. Huge explorable areas and many superheroes to unlock make the game a keeper for a long time.
Believe the Hype
This game really suprised me, I was shocked at how big and fun it was. I have played other games in the lego franchise, and it was hit or miss for me. I really loved this one, it was awesome. I think some of the things you have to find are challenging and found myself wondering what do I do here, but overall it was a blast. I think this game is fun for all sorts of players, it is addictive too. I am a 40 something male and couldn't stop playing this thing. I like all the characters, the graphics were pretty good. But the main thing is the game itself, if you love Lego games, then this is a no brainer.
Finally Lego Spider-Man is in a video game!
I've played every Spider-Man game and I think he will really be the highlight of this game! All the rest are okay but I'm a true Spidey fan
I have high hopes for this game. The LEGO games get better with each addition to the franchise, so this one has some promise. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is the best LEGO game I've played, with incredibly fun dynamics and abilities for each character. I expect the LEGO MARVEL will be even better, with MARVEL's richer pool of characters and with the success of DC Super Heroes to give a starting point on what worked and what didn't in the game, and with witty characters like Spider-Man, dry, carcastic characters like Wolverine and Nick Fury, and borderline insane characters like Deadpool, humor should be abundant. I highly recomend this game, even though it hasn't been released yet.
