This is one of the best items i've ever bought on this site. I would deffinatly recommend it to any die hard Gears of War fan, it looks just like i thought it would in the game.

LOOKS NICE
I just got my gaming room repainted, so Im looking for some decorations to mount on my wall. When I looked at this retro lancer reblica, it looked perfect. It looks so great on my gaming wall.

I got lucky and picked one up at tha midnight launch.......but after seeing what there selling for on e-bay I gotta let it go. It so FRACKING cool but hey for 400 bucks it's like so gone.........gonna miss it :(

thoughts and ideas
ok no doubt this replica looks outstanding and fun to play with i would buy this in a breez to show off my friends and scare a few of them, but the one thing that still gets to me and which is also missing a overall rating number because of this= is the sound it makes when you pull the trigger, i thought that it would make a pretty awesome machine turrett but instead it sounds like a Crow cawing/screeching the sound of a loud drill in 5 in the morning with a headache that soon gives you, my idea is dont have NECA make these becuase they never fix the sound like the old lancer replicas, have another company make these with good quality AND have the exact machine gun sound from the game and another idea is like another guy posted is to MAKE AN AIRSOFT GUN out of it because it would intimidate those lol and be more fun and more people would buy this and so in conclusion fix these sound test or soon theyll be covered in lint/dust within months.

HARDCORE EPICNESS!
I'm a HUGE fan of the Gears of War series. Unfortunately, i didn't get a chance to get the first lancer replica. Once i heard that they were bringing the Retro Lancer replica....my jaw dropped. I could not pass up this opportunity. I can't wait to go to the midnight launch and pick up my EPIC EDITION and RETRO LANCER. If you're a die hard GoW fan, this is a must buy if you are a game collector.

if only it could be an airsoft gun
man this gun looks awesome i would love for this to be an airsoft gun and use it in airsoft wars, alas even though it cant shoot bbs its still awesome, i want to get 1, rearrange the insides and make it a functioning airsoft gun

I admit: i'd get one of these, but this is really expensive, and I have other games I want to pre order. this looks cool, it'll be a good collector's item, but the price, I'm not sure about getting one of these

Definately want this. Kinda wish it was the chainsaw instead of the bayonette, but lucky for the guy in the pic it isn't. He looks like the type who would rather cut himself with it lolololol
