ASUS Transformer Prime 32GB - Champagne
This tablet is just awesome so far, and I didn't even buy the dock yet. The screen is vibrant and the colors are great. There is no problem finding a brightness to suit the environment. I think it goes without saying that this thing is faster than fast. With the quad core and GPU, every game runs smooth and clean. Even though the companion core on this thing is only 500MHz, it's plenty for tooling around the UI; and it's *fast*. Going from app to app, ho screen to the drawer, changing home screens and all other UI animations are smooth and quick. So far, I haven't been able to legitimately play with the battery life to see exactly how long it lasts on normal use (with no regard for saving the battery). The back plate is pretty easy to muck up... definitely get a Zagg or something for it. I've had this thing less than 48 hours and there are already scuffs from setting it on tables and rotating it and such. So, to elaborate on my rating: Screen - 10/10; Build - 9/10; Speed - 10/10; Touch sensitivity - 10/10; Overall design - 8/10
A killer droid!
The best android out to date hands down!
has a tegra3 quad core with a extra 5th core for low power app's and one gig of ram (4x more then the ps3)
the gpu has 12 shader cores and has some beautiful no lag graphics that totally amaze me when playing tegra 3 HD games
12 hour battery run time without the extra 6 hours you can get from the dock for it. i have let mine run for several days with an hour or two's use per day before having to charge it back up.
the display on it is stunning and can be seen outside with ease even in pretty bright areas.
if you were thinking about getting the vita dont buy this instead it totally puts the vita to shame.if you were thinking ipad2 dont bother this kills it and im not sure ipad3 will be able to top it.and for this particular model"champagne" its just a fancy name for silver and looks better then the grey i think. also i love that it has native compatibility with a bluetooth ps3 controller for games(i hate wires)
