I myself usually never buy game guides, but this one stuck out. I Had just bought Skyrim and decided right then and their to get the guide. It was well worth it. It has the info for EVERY race, quest, weapon you name it, it's their. not only that, the book comes with a map that has every location in the game. This guide has showed me how great strategy guides can be.

So I walk into GameStop about 30 mins after they opened to pick up my Skyrim. Im in line all gitty and stoked and there on the counter I see the guide, now I've never been one to buy them (never saw the point) and next to it I see CE guide but this was no guide, ITS A TEXT BOOK. 650+ pages to Skyrimy goodness, detailed map, downloadable virtual map. On top of everything you get 20% off the guide(I mean text book) if your Power Up Pro member when you buy it with your Skyrim. So yeah. I'll see you guys next year.

you may think it's just a collector's edition but no , helllleeee no! this guide comes with the online interactive map that cost $14.99 if buy it separate so now u can see why the price add up , not only that the artwork is awesome , its the holy bible of rpg guide and they should make more guide like this. the interactive guide is easy to use let's see.. u want to find that special weapon? there's a category for that - click it and it shows ALL THE SPECIAL WEAPONS with description , how about those gem that spread all over the world.. there is a category for that , its soo easy to use and it's truly amazing , if u can get it get it as i see prices are raising up to be about $75 already , good luck!

A must have if you're serious with Skyrim..

This guide is a must have what really sold me is the bound-in ribbon bookmarks coz when i use strategy guides for other games i have to put my iphone, ipod touch, remote or other things between pages i browse because i look onto something.. but with the bound in ribbon booksmarks its looks like i would stop doing that.. and i am serious in getting this.. but common gamestop.com i tried ordering this online and it has a separate shipping fee with the Collectors Edition I'm ordering?? I mean I'm ordering 2 CE's 1 for me 1 for my cousin my shipping fee is already 17.49 for overnight shipping so that i can get Skyrim at November 11 and start playing it as soon as possible but i still need to another 9.99 for overnight shipping of this.. I mean they are all gonna come at the same box or same delivery why do that?? Its not cool..

This is going to be the best/worst investment of my life. Best because its probably the sickest thing ever. Worst because its going to consume my live. Here I come 300 lb slob who cant get up from the couch. Oh well, my character in Skyrim will be ripped for me. Also, why is every saying this is only 592 pages long? Amazon has it up for 656! That's 50+ pages of amazing...

The reason why people are saying its 592 is because amazon stated in the description a few weeks ago that it was 592 now that there is new info and screenshots of the actual number of pages they fixed it.

If you're looking at the collector edition, than you already want this. With all the stuff that Bethesda has crammed into this game, this thing is going to be a dream for perfectionists. Stuck half-way through a dungeon you found in the middle of nowhere? Jump online and use the Prima map to find where you are, then use your super-awesome HARD COVER guide to tell you how not to die to the 14 traps in the next five feet. This not only looks amazing but will help you maximize your play time and get everything Skyrim has to offer.

Oh yeah! I would buy this, regardless of price! Because it is a Collector's Edition that does give all the details for it for enchanted experience of gameplay! Because of this, Skyrim gameplay can take you more than 300-500 hours of gameplay to acquire everything details! This is a totally worth of to buy this!

My god 592 pages this has got to be the biggest guide yet can't imagine when they release the next version of the guide with all the expansions included now I am not big on buying guides for games when you can get everything off the internet for free but I always get a guide for Elder Scrolls and Fallout and seeing as this game is upwards of 300 hours it will be quite some time before a decent guide is avialable online so do yourself a favor get this guide so you always have a reference at your fingertips for this massive game thank god for thankgiving and christmas break I am going to need it:)
