Great Game for the WWE Universe!
This game is yet again setting the bar higher for the WWE SvR franchise. With great game play and in depth backstage story lines this is a well done game that any wrestling fan will enjoy. Where the graphics are a bit lacking during superstar entrances the visual effects during the matches and the sound makes up for any loose strings. Great Game!

An fun experience undermined by mediocre graphics
The first time I booted up WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011, the game beat me down. Having become accustomed to the shallow fun of WWE All Stars, I was crushed by the control scheme that is very different from any other fighting game on the market, with the exception of previous SvR games. But once I adjusted to the control scheme, I found a fun and deep experience that I would go on to enjoy for many months to come. The graphics could use a lot of work however, with a lot of clipping issues. Hair is also very stiff. Divas suffer the worst fate; they look nothing like their real life counterparts. The standout new mode here is WWE Universe, which, in the words of the wonderful people over at the IGN team, "takes rivalries, teams, titles, and everything else in the WWE and has them all in what used to be exhibition space." It's a fun way to unlock new arenas, of which there are many, and just have a good time. The new Road to WrestleMania mode suffers a different fate. The storylines are enjoyable enough, and include such interesting stories as Chris Jericho stealing the WWE Championship belt, Randy Orton becoming Raw GM, and Ray Mysterio attempting to piece together what happened to him after a tragic car accident. However, the controls in the backstage segments are clunky, and lips flap wildly when characters talk. Overall, WWE SvR 2011 is a fun wrestling experience, but inconsistent modes and poor graphics drag it down.

This game is the best of its franchise.
If you are a wrestling fanatic, than SmackDown vs Raw 2011 is the perfect game for you. It's got a new and updated roster, featuring the regular superstars like John Cena, Randy Orton, and Batista, but also features some new faces, like Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. It's got this new WWE Universe mode. It's sort of like General Manager mode like they used to have before. Anyway, this game is perfect for all of those wrestling fanantics out there.
