Warriors Orochi 2
Best of the Warriors series!
A few years ago, they released the game Warriors Orochi for PS2. It was a game that was a combination of Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors along with Warriors Orochi only elements. Now it's a few years later and they released Warriors Orochi 2 for PSP, Xbox 360 and PS2.Story: 7/10It's original but not that good. The serpent king Orochi is planned to be revived by a mysterious new group of mystics. So the warriors of each game with a few new ones help to stop the plan. Not the best story but since it's original it deserves a 7.Sound: 9/10 A soundtrack with both musics from each game make it very enjoyable. There are a new soundtracks as well. As for the voices, the American ones in my opinion are not the best. Thankfully, they have the option to switch voices to Japanese which is a thumbs up for me.Gameplay: 10/10The most important part of the game, gameplay. This game uses the same battle style as Samurai Warriors which is fast paced. Controls are easy to get the hang of and is placed very well. Well anyways, this game is basically a slow paced button masher where you get to kill hordes of enemies in a few seconds. You can attack normally with the square button and unleash a charged attack with triangle, you can also link combos by doing this such as square, square, triangle. Each stage there is one boss, and his many generals. Generals are important to kill so that they can't kill your commander. Killing soldiers and generals are the only way to gain experience to level up.Graphics: 9/10Very much like the PS2 graphics except with little differences such as square hands, but it looks normal from your view so it doesn't matter. Models are done as well as enemy soldiers. Conclusion:If you're looking for a great time killer and button masher, this game is for you. Not to mention this game has over 100 hours of gameplay to complete the entire game.
