Here are some of the downs about sims 2 pets for the psp: you can't build your own house, slow loading, some lag, only can have a family of four, and when your pets fall asleep in your way you can't wake them up which really annoyed the heck out of me because I couldn't get my alien sim out of the bathroom because of the cat. But if that happens to you just use your other sim to go to the town square and bring the pet with you then it should be awake when you get back then it should move out of the way otherwise I don't know how to get it out of the way. But some of the ups for this game are when you are actually playing it's fun and you actually have weekends unlike other sim games where you have to go to work everyday no matter what, unless you skip. But you don't wanna do that because you may get fired! And on this you can have alien dogs, alien cats, robot dogs, robot cats. Unlike the other ones for other systems, the graphics for sims is awesome. I've had this game for other game consoles, just not for psp or ds, but I have to say this is a really fun sims game for the psp. I recommend you get it.

The Sims 2 Pets was among the first games I got for my PSP, and I was highly impressed. I played this game for hours before getting bored. Usually for a Sims game I spend all day on my PC, but with this, I easily spend a good 15 hours a day working on my family and my home. The controls for the PSP are so simple that it's almost impossible to not know what a button does. Although the interaction between sims makes me angry sometimes because they don't acually talk, its still worth it to have the volume up and listen to the music. The graphics are extremely good, and can easily be compared to the PC version of The Sims 2. Although the character customization is basically useless, you can still make your character somewhat unique by picking his/her clothes and hair. You can not make your own house in this game, but it makes up for that by allowing you to choose from an astonishing amount of objects that can be placed inside of a home. The loading does take forever, but it's easy to live with if your just staying at home taking care of your pet and interacting with visitors. I highly recommend this game to any Sims fan out there.

This game you most likely will enjoy. You can be any sim you want. You cannot be a pet though, when you switch to them its just a petwatch camera. If you switch to the classic mode you might find it convenient, but i personally like to be one character at a time, it really depends on what you need to do or want to do. If you don't know how to get a job you just look for one in the newspaper. If you think you should get paid more simply look for another job and it will most likely pay more than the previous job you had. all your sims [no pets] can get a job so you rack in more money for spending on your pet or to renovate your pad or just buy something. I suggest you sell your shower and buy a tub, it costs a little more, but you can wash your pet in it so you don't have to keep paying to keep your animal clean.

ive always been a fan of the Sims games but this one a little iffy for me. you start off the game like anyother Sims game customizing your character(s) and with your pet(s) you can customize too. for me the pets were a bit much, if you have cat(s) they claw up your furniture and destroys it. if you get a dog(s) all they do is dig up the yard and raid through your trash cans, and guess who gets to pick everything up?!?!? you do!!! if you get both the cat(s) and the dog(s) well its just double the trouble. money is hard to make because you have to buy toys, food, and some form of housing for the animals, it adds up quickly. so its iffy for me but an ok game.

The sims 2 pets on the PSP is a fantastic game. Oh, it may not have as many options as the PC version, but that doesn't matter. It is just as fun, except you cannot have children or build houses. The addition of pets is cool, and I reccomend this to anyone who likes the sims.
