As soon as i heard this game was available for the PSP i researched it non stop for a few days before i got it. When i got the game and started playing i was amazed. The graphics were a lot better then i thought they would be. The main thing i didn't like though was it kind of skips a lot (it may be my PSP but I'm not sure). The enemies actually fight you so your not just mowing them down like little ants or whatever, so there is somewhat of a good challenge. The tutorial mission is great it tells you every single thing you possibly need to know about playing. Also throughout the game there are hundreds of things to unlock, from new lightsaber hilts and colors to outfits and these things called jedi holocrons that display cool artworks. But overall I would say the replay value is a 9 out of 10 it's just a good game. If you like this game i would definately recommend Assassins Creed: Bloodlines and God of War: Chains of Olympus. Both great PSP games that should definatley be picked up alongside this one

This is the best Star Wars ever! Star Wars The Force Unleashed gives you the once in a lifetime opportunity to use the Force this amazingly.Grabbing bad guys, choking them, electrifying them, throwing them of the platforms, killing Rancors, using new jedis like Ram Kota, using Darth Maul and more. There's a bunch of characters that you can use either killing a bunch of troopers or fighting other characters.Although the game play may be repetitive,it's fun.The graphics are OK,the story line is the best, the sound is OK,as well and it's not that short.I don't know, but my copy,in the start of each single level, there is a momentarily freeze up.Other than that, the game is pretty darn good.I made the mistake of trading it in...It was a faith worse than death.I traded it in because of the freeze-ups.I thought it was the game that was broke, but then I bought it again and it had freeze ups.But I didn't care.Anyways,it's a great game and every Star Wars fan would like it.My rank:8.25

The Force Unleashed was a very anticipated game. Unfortunately, it wasn't too good. It was a decent enjoyable game. It wasn't as interactive as i thought it would be. In other words, i would have named the game, "Star Wars: The Force on a Leash". Because, there isn't really much force as i expected. Sure you can do basic lifting, throwing, pulling, and send stormtroopers to their electrifying death, but, it really isn't something new. Weve seen it before. The story was awesome and i liked it, but it was short as heck. Oh, and also, the easiest game ever! No challenge what so ever. If they ever made games that everyone, even old people and kids with diseases that make info harder to process, could play, please add this because the only thing that makes this game challenging is when i play it with my eyes closed. I hate the main character. I hate the rebellion. So ill just end with this. Hardcore Star Wars fans, wait for Battlefront 3, it's worth it.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Zack1020870 An awesome Star Wars game!
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an awesome Star Wars game, it has some really awsome force powers, has a really good storyline, and iv'e seen alot of people say oh, it's way too short, there wrong! this game took me a good week or so to beat, that's a pretty long game considering i played like 3-4 hours everyday. First of all the challenge, it isn't too hard, but some bosses and the later levels can get pretty challenging at times, the Graphics are pretty good, animation looks solid, but sometimes they can look blurry and some force moves you use can look a little wierd, so that's why i gave it an 8. the storyline, like i said is really good, i like how it ties in between episodes 3 and 4, sound is pretty good, but i wish that they could have made it a little bit more louder, but maybe that's just me. The interface is great when you attack things/people, they react almost immeaditly. All in all, if you like the Star Wars franchise, and have a PSP, Wii, PS3, 360, then you need this game! Thank you for reading my review, bye!

I have played the first few levels and though for PSP the graphics are great and the sounds is amazing, the controls get a bit complicated at times, not always responsive and you find yoru self doing the same two moves through the game. but again i am only like 3 levels in. the story so far is amazing and from the console version it is exactly the same so it will be great. the length i know will be good compared to console versions one major complaint i have is the distance drawing. i am getting hit and hear/see lasers everywhere but at times enemies are either to far away and not drawn yet or the colors blend so much i tend to not even see them until i am right in front of them. main complaint though; NO CAMERA ANGLES. it selects the angle depending on where you face and isnt always up to speed. so i can be running in one direction but the camera is still looking behind me or to the side.... why cant i 360 view?

This has to be the greatest game based on star wars. first of are the controls. there aren't any ways to control the camera, which makes it awkward to play with, but it does its job. analog for movement, x square circle and triangle buttons used for jumping, circle for lightning, square for striking with the light saber, and triangle for force push. the graphics in this game are really good in game enviroments. the cutscenes arent the best, but they do pretty good. the storyline and length are this games strongest point imo. after beating the game, you can go back and replay it to unlock different costumes and lightsaber ilts and crystals. then come the force unleashed mode. here you can choose wether you want to play a historic battle, or just do an all-out brwle against different jedis and sith's. overall this game is awesome and totally recomend it to anyone looking for a good star wars game on the psp.
Rated 7 out of 10 by R&CFan Ranging from cool to boring to meh to cool again
On average, TFU wasn't a bad game. But for some reason, it just wasn't that great all of the time. Sure, it had some good ol' Star Wars action in there, but... the levels are repetitive, the secrets aren't really all that... secret... or rewarding for that matter... and the physics are clunky at times, usually when on the topic of knockback on the player. It's good for SW fans and some casual gamers, but for others the game will feel boring, being peppered with awesomeness every once in a while. If you are a big Star Wars fan, you might enjoy this game. It includes plenty of art (unless you are too casual or too lazy to actually pick up said art) as well as being able to not only fight classic characters like Shaak Ti or even Darth Vader himself, but play as them in the arena modes. So even with its slight clunkyness, repetitive levels, and low replay value, it still has fun things to do.
Rated 9 out of 10 by AlexXY A Pretty Good Game
If you like star wars you should get this game. It is really fun. I'm not even a star wars fan, but i decided to try this game. It has really good sound. If you were to step on metal it would make a clinking noise and etc. The graphics are pretty good too for the psp. The storyline is very interesting, but you'll have to find out for yourself what it is about. It is also pretty long because it's been lasting me a while, and i still think i have some few parts to go. The new modes are very fun. The historic missions allow you to play the parts of old scenes from star wars with a certain character. The order 66 is a fun mode where you have to survive a wave of attacks from storm troopers and others. It's fun if you want to waste some time. The only bad thing about this is that there could have been better combos and attacks. Other than that, this is a sure buy for anybody with a psp.
Rated 10 out of 10 by skylerfunnydude My New Favorite Video Game!
This is a great game. It's so much fun being the secret apprentice, throwing storm troopers around and electrocuting them in mid air. The force powers are: repulse, saber throw, push, electricity, grip, and many more! I gave it 10/10 for everything except challenge (a little too difficult, but still beatable) and controls (their fine, I just forget them because there are so many force combos and attacks!). It so fun battling strong jedi and other cool enemies. Also, there is an awesome feature called historic missions, where you play as someone from the movies. Like there's one historic mission where your Anakin fighting count Dooku. Also, there's another where you're Vader fighting Luke. There are six historic missions, 4 of them needs to be unlocked. Anyway, this game is awesome, and the story is great, graphics amazing, and just so much FUN! Best video game ever. Period.
