This game is everything one would want in a great game. It has mini games galore and the game play is very good. The Pro's : Graphics, Sound, Challenging, Mini Games, The Con's: Rosters ARENT fully updated. Rasual butler still with Hornets, They exclude a bunch of rookies (Thorton and Collison arent even on the Hornets roster), this is the case for several teams as well. There is virtually NO post up game/moves. You can feed the ball into the post but there is no BUTTON set to do moves, etc...Plays are a bit limited. Overall this game is a big hit with me. I chose this one over live simply because i fell in love with the free demo and the fact the live is a HUGE bust on Portable system. NBA 10 may fail on the PS3 and come in 3rd behind 2k and Live but they really deliver a great product for the handheld. Love the game. You wont be dissappointed if your a sports gamer and a basketball fan. Great game! Mini games and extras are just a bonus and really deliver the whole "pick up and play experience" EXCELLENT GAME!

if your looking for a real life like hard core basektabll game for the psp then get nba live its he best sim bball game hands down. If your looking for a game with tons of fun options a pretty good season mode, and pretty good gameplay then get this. Its a fun game but takes LOTS of time to get used to. I was going to get this years bball game and trade in last years as usual when i saw i had 3 options this year. I usually just always go with live a very good option but then i saw nba 10 as usual also and 2k. After getting mlb 2k9 this year i knew to stay away from 2k games on the psp. So i decided to try nba 10 which had the highest rating this year (my mistake) im a really hardcore fan and i like just playing the games. Im getting used to the gameplay and all the extra games and enjoying it alot. If your and avid bball fan and like trying new options then get this if your a straight up bball fan with day to day life stats then get nba live.
Rated 10 out of 10 by I_like_ICE_CREAM! much better than nba 2k10
nba 10 the inside is the best basketball game this year. once i started playing the game i couldn't stop. franchise mode is great, and the graphics are amazing. if you are a hardcore gamer, this is under 2k10. Put if you just like games and a little hardcore this is the best game for you to get. as i said, the graphics are amazing. they compare to the ps2, which is better than the psp. it also compares with the wii, also better graphics. some of the minigames don't even involve basketball, like bowling, and pinball. there is even like a skee ball thing but basketball hoops insted of holes. in shooting bricks, it is like that old arcade game where a ball hits the bricks with a line. that one is fun as well. if you don't like virticaly holding the psp in some of the minigames press select. it puts it back to regular. that is my review for nba 10 the inside, i reccemend it to everyone who likes basketball and has a psp.
Rated 10 out of 10 by surge NBA 10 is a Slam Dunk!
This is the best basketball game I have played for the PSP. The gameplay is solid and the challenge it offers is perfect. The graphics are what you would you expect for a PSP game. The controls are easy to use and very responsive when playing the game. The mini games are very addictive and fun to play. The rosters are not as current as they should be, but fairly accurate for the most part. The camera angle isn't the best, yet it doesn't take away from the game when playing. The sound is excellent, however the commentary has a bit of lag to it. The stats for each team and player seems to be accurate from what I've seen. The interface is well designed and is easy to navigate. It only has ad-hoc for online play, which doesn't bother me. Overall, NBA 10 is a well designed package that everyone who plays basketball games on the PSP will enjoy. It never gets boring to me and is well worth it to purchase.
Rated 1 out of 10 by fish taco NBA 10 The Inside
I was looking forward to NBA 10 The Inside, but was disappointed when I played it. First off, the artificial intelligence cannot be modified to make the game how you like it. Secondly, you can't make players any better. I like to make the really good players, even better. but all they let you do is move players to a different team. Thirdly, the gameplay was really messed up. You can't take a shot with a defender guarding you or it will get blocked. You even get blocked on slam dunks. The computer blocks practically all of your shots, you have to set a pick to get a good look. Lastly, it is way to easy to score. The computer isn't even challenging you on defense, and they make almost all of their shots on offense. The game did have amazing grafics for a PSP game, plus the extras and quests were fun, but overall, the game lacked any excitement.
Rated 10 out of 10 by SportGameLover NBA 10: The Inside, is a Great game!
Well, I bought a PSP very recently and this is the first game I got with it. I enjoy it. Also, the game has pretty decent graphics, basically what you would expect for the PSP. The game has many modes to choose from, which means its hard to get bored of. Some of the rosters are not updated, but that's easy to fix because you can change up the rosters. Its very challenging, you just have to find the difficulty that provides the right challenge to you. The controls are easy, not hard to memorize at all. You can play a franchise, and when you get bored of that, you can play quests and try to conquer the country 5 different ways, or have some fun at the carnival, or even play pinball! You can play the all star weekend, with the skills challenge, 3 point contest, orthe all star game, but you can't play the dunk contest. One of the bad things is, when you simulate a franchise for a few years, and then you look at the best players on the years before, and their rated from an A-, to a C+. On this game your able to go on the internet and play a quick game against another person from around the world. Or play a quick game by yourself when you don't want to play any of the other game modes. You can even play H.O.R.S.E, or, one of the quests is dodgeball. I like sports games and this is one of the best sports game i have ever played. Personally, I recommend this game to everyone because it fun, challenging, and you never get bored of it!

So I wanted a Basketball game really bad but I didn't have the time to get one. Usually I only buy sports games by EA Sports but I went for this one. I Really liked it and I enjoy Playing it. I let some friends borrow it and they also enjoyed it. I thought this game is really fun and would Recommend to any NBA Fans.
Rated 7 out of 10 by cmich925 Okay, i guess
I liked this game when i bought it. But, then i was disappointed by the play of the game. It was too easy to score and it wasn't very challenging at all. Then, they don't really show you the statisics in the game. The only thing better about it then 2K10 was the graphics. They were great but the gameplay just wasn't good.
Rated 0 out of 10 by surge Played the Demo, It's Good
I played the demo of this game and it seems like it will be a good game. The graphics look pretty good and the rosters are current. Hopefully it will have continuous roster updates to download. And of course the mini games are fun too, I may buy this game when it comes out.
