Medal of Honor Heroes
Great Shooter Game
When I first played this game I thought it was going to be pretty fun. I was definetly right> This was intense on every level. The different diffuculties were very challenging. I flew through the easy very quicly, I believe it took me about two days to get throuh it. The medium, however was not that easy. It took me about a week to beat it. With enemies around every corner I was fighting for my life on that game. It was definetely not an easy task. So far on hero I have not evn beat the first out of fifteen levels. This will probably take about amonth at the most I think.Overall my expierience with this shooter game has been really fun. After I beat this game I'm planning on getting Medal of Honor Heroes Two. I would also recomend other shooter games like the Socom Fireteam Bravo series or the Ghost Recon Warfighter series.
a great WW2 game
It's been a while since i wrote my last review, but anyway let's get down to business this is a really good game, it's got a good challenge to keep you busy, it's got good controls, it's got nice weapons, pretty long campaign and it's in a critical time period in American history. The controls are good, but i would have liked to move with the D-pad, instead of the analog stick because almost every PSP game has you moving/walking with the analog stick, but it's not a huge deal. The storyline of course is in World War 2, so you know it will be realistic and good. The graphics are pretty good, except people's faces and some other animation parts aren't so good, but i mean it's a game, it's supposed to be more then just the graphics. The sound is really good too, every gun sounds authentic and there is a cool tune between levels, the only bad thing is that there is a 20:00 minute time-limit for most of the levels, that is pretty annoying, anyway i suggest if you have a PSP, like shooters or war games then you should check it out.
good on the go!!!!!!!!
the game is good and wonderful on the go while on trips. The controls take only minutes to get used to. But overall not bad but needs more weapons
MOH Series Fan Review Must Read!
I would have given this game a 7.5 for the game. First stop the challenge, I mean the challenge wasn't that great and the AI on the hardest level wasn't a challenge at all. Second, the graphic, the reason I rated the graphics high because the FPS is really not that good for the PSP, so come one stop giving it a low score. I mean the shooter for the PSP is like an evolution because even the DS graphics is worse. The game responsiveness is really good I mean I thought the M1BAZOOKA and the PANZERSHREK were awful because in MOH2 those weapon had horrible aim and the shockwave for explosion didn't even kill you. The storyline wasn't awful, but they didn't add any story twist like one of the team backstabbed you or something like that they just put you in random mission and kill people. The control should have been a lot better but who care it was really good except for the melee button because it is also use for iron sight (aiming), you have to tap it and sometime it doesn't respond enough and it could be a life and death situation, where you ran out of ammo and a AI have a Shotgun at your face laughing at you. The only thing that didn't have cons was the interface and the sound, they were really good and the sound and the sound effects were awesome. This is my final conclusion for the game. THANK YOU for reading this. Actual Score:7.5
it's good but where's the blood?
i couldn't buy this game so i downloaded it from the playstation network. With my 13 year old hands and customized controller setup, the controls on my psp go were really comfortable. The graphics were ok but they got pixellated(blocky) in distances, except if you had a scope on your gun there would no problem with shooting form long distances. It was real disappointing to find out alll bodies would eventually vanish from the ground. The sound was very excellent and the main tittle(/screen) theme song was so beautiful and patriotic i almost cried when i heard it because for some reason it reminded me of all of those who had given up there lives in ww2 for the freedom of our amazing country, america. the gun sounds were realistic and so was the melee punch noise. Whenever you would walk(in campaign of multiplayer) you could hear the waddle of your guns/equipment on your back and the hardness of your boots, stomping on the ground. Most multi player matches have hackers in them, but if you're lucky you'll get an intresting match. The fact that you can take this beautiful game on the go (by go, i mean like if you're going somewhere, it doesn't mean this game is only for the psp go) is truelly amazing.
best for PSP
If tis is your first time buying a psp game i would decently recommend this. Good weapons but the sound for them is a little stupid, but that is not a big deal. You will finish this campaign mode in 1 hour but the modes skirmish and multiplayer also feature lots of fun. If you want to buy a medal of honor game buy this one before the second medal of honor heros, so you can get use to it. And anyone who is looking for a challenge go to veteran. At the difficulty choosing when you win the game in campaign with all bronze metals it will say 20%done. Don't let that fool you you have to get all gold metals to get 100%. I tried that with all silver metals and 1 gold and only got 63%done. And if you want to get back at those hacks on multiplayer don't kill yourself looking for cheat i tried and there are no cheats i don't know how those hacks found those cheats!!
Not Just Another WWII Shooter...
I bought this game because my friend told me to, and I was thinking it was just a little joke, and the game wasn't going to be that great. I was wrong. I still remember sliding the UMD into my PSP 3001's UMD drive. The first thing I'm going to mention is the sound. It has a very good soundtrack for the menu and the sound quality wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. When I started the campaign, I was blown away. It requires you to complete main objectives such a blowing up radio towers and generators, holding a certain area on the map for a certain amount of time, and capturing command posts. The campaign also has a few secondary objectives that are optional, but they add a little extra gameplay in. The next thing I will cover is Skirmish mode. Setting it up is very simple; choose a time limit, the map, and the number of bots you want and your done. Then just select your costume and weapon and spawn. Skirmish mode allows you to keep playing the game once you've beeten it. Ad-hoc is not that great. It is like Skirmish, just no bots which is very annoying when you only have 2 people playing on a huge map.I cannot speak for infrastructure because my PSP doesn't allow me to play online. I am guessing it is like ad-hoc, just with more players. Overall, you will have a lot of fun with this product if you are into WWII games. If you don't like WWII games, then you will not like Medal of Honor: Heroes.
I've had this game for over a year, and have not gotten bored with it yet. Although the campagne is short, the game is great due to the multiplayer. The multiplayer is by far my favorite on the PSP. It lets you play 32 person matches online, with leaderboards and everything! The only problem (which I can't criticize the game for) is that in multiplayer there are a shatload of hackers. These hackers ruin your game (by cheating) for a couple of minutes until the rest of the players kick them out of the game (which is an option). Basically, if you like Call of Duty, get this game. Also, this game is a better PSP experience then the PSP version of Call Of Duty, which honestly sucks. Lastly, if you play online add me: "IsThis Cod" or "BrothaPleze".
Best PSP Online Shooter
Medal of Honor Heroes isn't graphically amazing. It doesn't have the best modes ever. It doesn't have a great weapons selection, but it still is a really fun game. Basically, I could sum up the pros of Medal of Honor Heroes with only talking about it's online. First, there are several modes, which offer to a variety of players. Capture the flag, deathmatches, you name it. In games, the really good thing is the text system. I already have Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for wii, and they've removed that, which is a big let-down. You can give orders to your team (Axis or Allies), with much more precision if you just sit back and text. Overall, the game is fun, and a definate increase if you have the capability to play it online. The campaign mode isn't terrible, especially since you can unlock character skins, but online is definately worth the buy.
A Classic for PSP
This was one of the first good PSP games I played. While the campaign is fairly short, the online community was thriving, it sort of took flight and was alive, in its own way. In its heyday, this game was a great buy for the system. And, at a price of $10 brand new these days, it'd be hard to pass up this offer. Great fun. That's what this game is.
