Rated 9 out of 10 by Sergie Great Game! Love it and is a long lasting game!
This game is very fun and is a long lasting game for all you marvel fans. This game (my opinion) is better then the Ultimate Alliance 2 for the psp. The graphics, cutscenes and gameplay is great. Sure the ps3 versions are 10 times better, but for the psp, this game is pretty awesome. I never get tired of this game, I beat it, and play it all over again. Also, the unlockables and costumes are detailed and great. If you like games like xmen legends, then I highly recommend you to play this game... if you are a marvel fan. The story is great, there are loads of characters too.

Rated 8 out of 10 by OcarinaOfAwesome A must-have for any comic book fan!
If I had to sum up the entire game in one word, it would be "Amazing". As a huge fan of X-men, I was thrilled to discover that much of the plot revolves around jean/phoenix and nightcrawler, which gave this great game the extra touch of awesome that it needed. Also, this game boasts the largest roster of superheros, which is yet another great aspect. However, the game can be glitchy from time to time, especially with flying characters. As the Human Torch, I often found myself flying inside walls and above the ceiling. Even with some minor problems, this is still a great game.

Rated 10 out of 10 by Onxblade Double the characters, double the MARVEL.
Psp editions of super hero adventure games always have an extra character which I like. Plus it takes longer to dump this away or trade it in because it has more into it. I'd personally would buy this game. Hawkeyes special move is he throws an arrow that ricochets. :o spoiler*

Rated 9 out of 10 by Ninjaboy Good for gamers; great for marvel fans.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance first presented itself to me as an action-packed beat-em-up game that was a big hit to me at first. When you just start, you think that the controls are simple ones (i.e. A to attack, B to jump), but this is not the case. The developers really gave it their all in terms of combat. You won't get the groundbreaking combat that God of War has, but you do get a great set of moves that can be combined in many different ways to beat up your opponents. As you progress, you find additional moves that can be done by holding down the left or right trigger buttons, which expands your fighting moves further. Overall, I'd give the gameplay a 9/10. The graphics are the only real stumbling block when it comes to this game. Character models are slightly pixely, and sometimes it can be hard to see an opponent coming out of nowhere to strike at you. This is only because of the zoomed-out camera, though, so I don't think I have much to complain about. Overall, I'd give the graphics an 8/10. The sound is fairly mediocre, and voice overs are done very well. Overall, I'd give the sound a 9/10. The lasting appeal of this game is where it really shines, though, because the unlockable content is so much more than just artwork and some minigames (as is the case with most of these types of games); it gives you dozens and dozens of full levels to play, each with its own characters and objectives. I'd give the lasting appeal a 10/10. Another thing to add is this: this is a good game to get if you're a casual gamer looking for a good fighting game, but it's great if you're a marvel enthusiast and/or fan, with its 2 dozen-odd characters to choose from. The final verdict: this game is a great buy, with great length, gameplay and replayability. Final rating: 9.3/10.
