Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
MUA2 is a very long Action RPG game then its really good but the experience just get so low because technical aspects and trust me , this game really looks like a GB game , and even if this came out on PS1 , would look horrible , but i really enjoy my time playing the single player mode that allows you to create a team of 4 heroes and villians to stop your enemies , the sistematic is good and gameplay its repetitive but it has a lot of Beat em Up elements , also we have secondary missions to unlock more characters to the game , but when you playing it after seing God Of War , Metal Gear Solid or Resistance series on PSP you will be saying a lot then the game could look much better

Awesome
wasn't sure if i should get it or not after reading the reviews. i'm so glad i didn't listen to them. it is one of the best games i've ever played on the psp. totally awesome game. fun for all for years to come. as long as you keep in mind that you're playing it on a hand held and not a console you will love it too. going to get the first MUA sometime this week. don't always take it at what others say. try the game. gamestop will let you trade it back in and pick another game. whats there to lose?????

GReat game.
When i was first going to buy this game i came her to read the reviews, they were really negative.i went to go buy it and i REALLY liked it! Yeah there are times where at first you feel there are too many heros on the screen that it feels kinda crowded...After some time playing tho the challenge got better and some of my heroes even died! The fusions are really cool, and its really exciting to see what 2 heroes will do.....however there are some other big flaws...like for example spider man cant stick to walls...this small fact is probably overshadowed by the fact that each hero, villan, etc, has tons of abbilities.you have to unlock them but its really easy to do. This game is a must have for anyone who likes adventure and lots of playable heroes..

A Passable Expirience...If You Can Put Up With Some HORRIBLE Frame Rate
The 1st Ultimate Alliance on PSP is an absolutely spot on port of the console version and that was thanks to handheld developer extrodinare Vicarious Visions. For Ultimate Alliance 2 Savage Entertainment was tasked in bringing it to the PSP and its merely an "ok" expirience...but WAY behind part 1. On to the review...Graphics - They range from ok to "meh". Certain characters look really good (mostly the main characters which would be Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, and Wolverine). The rest range from ok to TERRIBLE. Hulk in particular looks VERY BAD. His arms are WAY TOO BIG and he has an extremely tiny head, meanwhile Green Goblins costume is ALL WRONG as its litterally all purple and looks ridiculous and nothing like the costume he wears in the comics. AND WHY ARE THERE NO EXTRA COSTUMES TO UNLOCK FOR THE CHARACTERS!? Levels have ok detail with nothing really great looking....again, its just "meh". Whats the REAL DEAL BREAKER here is the ATROCIOUS frame rate drop whenever there are a fair amount of characters on screen or whenever you do a fusion attack it gets CHOPPY AS HECK and looks TERRIBLE. Savage Entertainment CLEARLY could not get this game running at full capacity on PSP and it really shows. The cutscenes though look great with the exception of 2 certain ones that look VERY pixely (trust me, you'll know the exact 2 when you see them), but why is there no option to view them after you unlock them??? LAME. Where's Vicarious Visions when you need 'em? Oh yeah, that were doing the superior console version...Controls - There is nothing negative to say about the controls. Everything from the fusions to the combos work great and are very easy to learn.Sound/Music - Its doable. There are some glitches when certain characters talk, like you'll hear a beat skip for example, otherwise there's nothing really wrong with the sound/music.Length - A short game though there are 2 campaigns to go through. You should be done with everything in about 8-12 hours at the absolute most.If Ultimate Alliance 2 was given to a proper developer then im sure this would have been a great port on the PSP, but Savage Entertainment just could not get this running properly. If your REALLY interested in the portable version then definately wait until a price drop. Theres some fun to be had here...but it comes at a pretty steep price.

Downgrade
If you liked the first MUA for PSP, stick with that one. This version is a downgrade. The frame rate is terrible to the point where you can't tell what's usually going on. The graphics have stayed the same, which usually don't see from a sequel. Also, I don't understand why they would use the Civil War story line if they weren't going to follow it completely. The changes they made make the story terrible. The story and graphics aren't really the problem, the problem is the gameplay, if you can't have the game run smoothly with the options that are added, those options should be removed until the game does run smoothly. The old game ran pretty slow when changing characters, but this one skips and jumps at every moment of the game which is very disappointing for a license that showed a lot of promise.

Give it a break! Awesome game
I have played these kinds of games since X-men Legends and This is one of the best. Controls are responsive CGI is great and despite not having a co-op option I have a hard time finding anything to really dislike. The Fusion system is really cool but I am still working on my timing in getting it work just right. You can switch on the fly just like the the other games in this genre so you can find a team where you like to play all the members. The boards are expansive, which probably lends to a slight load time between them, perhaps 30 seconds or so. There is the same load time when going to character menus. I have not experienced any lag or anything that would make not at least try this game. I love it. Can't wait to get to the Civil War Story line! The Music is great and listen to Deadpool explain how to win video games is fun.
