Rated 10 out of 10 by PrettyCre Madden 10 PSP
this year is much better. it is smooth quick and runs better. making the plays is kinda cool as well. online its awesome as well. this year madden 10 for psp step it up big a big huge plus to get 4sho. the new superstar chanllenge is pretty cool. to be the hero or the spoiler is nice.....very different to change history and give you a little summary of what would happen if you change it. like the video for the begin for psp madden having a video is a plus. also, love the streaks...to tell if your player or serect weapons are warm and hot, or cold even freezing ice cold. also i just saw...icing the kicker makes it harder to make the game winning field goal by icing the kickiing before he makes the kick. madden 10 for psp does get better and better. maybe the chall. plays maybe next to throw the red paper to make the refs. take another look at it. madden i give 10 out of 10 mos. def.

Rated 7 out of 10 by DABEAST805 Flawed, but fun game of football
I am a huge football fan, and as such, I had very high expectations for the portable version of Madden NFL 10. When I first started up the game, I was impressed with the short load time. Then the game began. The players jagged and ugly, barely resembling their real-life counterparts. The crowds are lifeless 2D blobs and even the goal posts are poorly rendered. Simply put, this is not a pretty game. That said, it is an excellent football sim. All penalties that are made are called. A gray screen replaces the referees. As expected, there are plenty of "Madden catches", catches that are made without the player touching the ball or the ball goes through a defender into the receiver's hands. These are very clear when watching the replay. All in all, though, this is the only football the PSP has to offer, and as a whole, it's good. Just not the excellent football game I was hoping for.

okay the game overall is a very good game. the controls are very easy to use and if you can't play with them, you can change them to make the gameplay easier. the graphics are okay. they could be better, but for a handheld game system, they are awesome. the computer challenge on play now is awesome. the thing i don't get is how do you play football on this game on your franchise. i spent hours trying to figure that out, and all i could do was do training camp. I didn't want to do training camp, i wanted to play some football. and sometimes on the play now, i would get sacked by a guy that had just ran through a person. and i thought that was dumb. and when a play would end the commentators would keep talking and the screen would freeze up until it would go to the play book. but overall, this is one of my favorite games i own for the psp. Thanks for making such a great game.

Rated 10 out of 10 by american hater 99 great sport game
this was the first psp game i got when i bought my psp. this game is by far the best sports game I have ever played. im not a big fan of football but I thought you know what it looks fun. you can never get tired of this game.the graphics are just outstanding, I mean on a little psp screen they have so much detail. there is so much to do. if your bored of making your own franchise then there is this awesome challenge mode that you can either pick to be the hero of the game or my favourite the spoiler. and you can make your own plays and try them out against your nevxt opponent. this game really gets you going, when I was playing it in my english class( im a very intense gamer by the way) i got the final touchdown and well let just say that a months of detention was given. so if you really want an amazing sports game that will blow you away this is the game to get

I loved 08. But I was so dissapointed when I picked up 09. Everyone said that it was gong to the best madden ever. Well it wasn't I acually returned it and got 08 again. I almost gave up hope for the playstation portable until I got this. This game is better than 08. You can create your own plays although I can't figure out how to do play action plays. The superstar challene is also very fun this year because you can play as both sides. Like how it happened in real life or prevent it and then it wil tell you what would have happened. Franchise mode is as good as ever. There are however some flaws. The largest one is that after every play it freezes for a second or two. This has happened in previos years just not as frequently. also the commentary feels very forced and unrealistic but most other sport games sound like that. So overall this is a great game.

Rated 10 out of 10 by bigmoose AWESOME!!!
Madden NFL 10 for the psp is a great step towards greatness for future football games for the psp if they keep this up. This game is flat out amazing. You can change the camera angle if you want but i recommend madden camera because it keeps all the important stuff in view. And you get to do these highlight moves, where the player with the ballbreaks a tackle or whatchimacallit; and the graphics--well, let's just say that they are some of the best i've seen for the psp. THEY'RE AWESOME!! The only bad thing about this game was the commentary; Tom Hammond should be replaced with John Madden, and Chris Collinsworth isn't that bad. All John Madden says is: "You better do this play" (you know, for madden's pick), "Try this play. Run it down their throats." and so on. But madden 10 is awesome. I love Play Designer. You get to take your created playbook(s) into your franchise; yes, franchise is still here. Franchise is really cool, and with the "study opponent" thing, you really learn the tendencies of your upcoming opponent. Superstar challenge is cool; to be the hero or spoiler (which you can rewrite history) is nice. I recommend madden 10. You truely do fight for every yard!

Rated 10 out of 10 by Danny the Best this game is epic
If you like football then you will love this game. The graphics are phenomenal. It has amazing gameplay, and is a very fun game to play. If you would like to test your skills at coaching, the play designer is great too. It permits you make your own playbooks and formations. The commentary is cool. It has ride the momentum, which means you can see how hot your players are. Online play is really raw because it’s easy to sign up, and you can also see what’s happening in the NFL. The new mini game fight for the fumble lets you make game changing fumble recovery. On the super star challenge mode you can rewrite history, which enables you to be the spoiler and not the hero. In rank to matches, you can play with your created playbook. The price is reasonable

Rated 7 out of 10 by gamer13 good for anyone who likes football.
I had very high expectations for this game. Hoping that the graphics would have a little more power in them. From past PSP games the graphics were never the highest so i was hoping that because it was 2010 i had a feeling that is would have had great graphics. But i was wrong, take the jets starting QB Mark Sanchez. Does his calf really have that much wrinkles???? and does it have that much fat? so i give this a 7 over all. HIGH HOPES FOR 2011

At first i was a little optomistic on if this game would be good or not. But right when i turned it on and started playing i was very happy. The first thing i played was practice and i played that all day. Also i love the franchise mode on here because you can do a draft. This game has pretty good graphics for the psp. I would definately recommend this game to you

the graphics in this game are always the same. i figured that out when i saw my friend take out madden '04 for the psp, and i was like, dude, thats the same exact game. they have to work a little harder for the psp game for madden. its fun to play a quick game, but thats about it.over all, its a pretty bad game. after a few months, it won't even let me play a game. don't buy it.
