Final Fantasy meets Kingdom Hearts.
Jeanne D' Arc is a perfect game to the past, and has a nice video and gameplay style of final fantasy and kingdom hearts. I would recomend this to any Square Enix fan.

Great SRPG
This a great tactical / strategy RPG. It has a great grid-based battle system similar to games like Shining Force and Fire Emblem. My only minor complaint is that initially your party is very limited so you are consequently limited in your strategy. Also, this is a pure tactics game so if you like to explore towns this game is not for you.

ITS A TEN!
This game packs a punch! If you are a strategy based person then this is for you. When I first got this game about 3 years ago, It kicked my butt. The first couple of stages was so hard that I had to seriously rethink my gameplan. And that is what this game takes Strategy! Once you nail down the mechanics of the element system, you got this game in a bag. The Graphics and Story is phenomenal! It has that Joan of Arc story background! Definitely get this one if you want a challenge.

The story that gets you into the game.
Once you start the game, you will see the amazing 3D graphics. But you will still see the good old classic RPG camera view. Although you could change it around a bit to your liking. There are tons of cut scenes, with invoice characters. It's pretty cool that it even got the little french accent, this adds a good taste to the background of the game. There are 3 different types of "screens" one would be the battling one, the other one would be the world map, and then there is the inventory/shopping one. The length of the game is pretty good, but the it's such a great game that you wish that there is a continuation to this game. This game will offer you over 50 hours of game play. As for me it took me about 2-3 weeks to end the storyline and unlock all the bonuses. Oh! and yes, "bonuses", if you want a rest from the storyline, you can go back to fight old battles, or unlocked territories/stages that don't necessarily follow up to the storyline. Now the storyline, it starts out good. You follow up, you see that the cut scenes makes the storyline even better. And I'm not going to spoil it for you, but when reaching the end of the storyline. That's when it really touches you. It's such an amazing finale. Overall, this game would be a 9.9 to me. The part that takes that .1 would be the sound. By maybe half way through the storyline, you'll notice that the music has been sort of repetitive and you just want to kind of lower the music and focus on the game. Or maybe play your own music and play the game. So yeah other then the sound, which is not bad at all, just a bit repetitive after a while. The game is a great RPG!

A PSP RPG STRATEGY MONSTER
This is the reason you should have a PSP . this is the best RPG strategy game I've ever played. from story line to controls to music wow. keeps you busy and very addictive. a definite keeper. you'll be sorry if you trade this one in. this is a MONSTER of strategy. the longer you play the tougher it gets. it never gets boring for one second. This with Final Fantasy Tactics , Disgaea , both Star Oceans, Final Fantasy Advent , Monster Hunter 2 & Phantasy Star Portable puts these in your PSP case for rainy and boring days. trust me. all mega monsters and super challenging games. but Jean ? top of the list. not a renting kind of game. a must own game. almost like keeping your favorite book in your back pocket. i recommend this since its pretty cheap now. get it new or used. BUT GET IT !

Strategy at it's best.
If you liked Final fantasy tactics, then you will enjoy this game. The story is enthralling and deep. The characters are cool and fun to play, each with a variety of skills and weapons. You enter battle on a set stage, and move about it while defeating your foes. It is fun to play. Weapons and magic are the tools to win, and upgrades for each come as the game progresses. The most time spent on this game however is creating items. You will gain the ability, in a comical manner, to meld gems together to create a different gem. Gems give you your abilities, so you need them to execute cool moves to destroy your enemies. But it is time consuming to figure out all the possible combinations. One very helpful aide is that the game will record the recipe once you make a successful gem, so you don't have to remember it next time you want to make that gem again. It is a cool game and it kept me wanting to continue on. I recommend it to all rpg gamers, so add it to your collection, and enjoy!

This game was amazing
This game was amazing from the Demo i played of it. I was actually at the game store and asked one of the guy's about it and he gave me a demo. Graphics were better then FF and any game i've played on PSP. I also like the play style and the combat style from what i got to play of it on the demo.

This Game Looks Gorgeous
I had the pleasure of seeing some of the gameplay firsthand via an import version. Just from the graphics alone I fell in love and I don't just mean the animated cutscenes or even the beautifully done attack sequences, the overall look of the game (backgrounds, menus, etc.) was stunning. I HIGHLY recommend going to Sony's PSP website and viewing the two trailer videos there for this game, they are both great.

Keeping my eye on this one
I'm a quick fan of strategy/tactical games, and I'm always interested when games go for a historical theme. A tactical game based on the hundred years war sounds intriguing enough, but I'm going to wait for a few ingame movies/previews before I buy a copy.
