Rated 10 out of 10 by W1SA2D One of the best WW2 aviation games so far!
I always was into war stories and games specially ww1 and ww2. As for this game it could need more graphics on the way you destroy the apponents. I own two games of aviation simulators and to be honest what one lacks the other one has it. ovarall it's a great game, good handling, good graphics, awsome sound excellent story line. i would defenetly recomend this game for any gamers on the psp who likes a good dogfight although this game would off been problably one of the best aviation games if it would of been also an online multipalyer game(infustruction). for anybody who might be interested in purchising this game and you are not sure if it's good enought i would say that this game would be the best WW2 aviation game that i have played so far. In my personal opinion from a scale from 1 to 10 I would rate this game a 9 and well deserve i say. for anyone who is not sure if they should get it i say GET IT!

Rated 0 out of 10 by Shootanator Excellent WWI/ WWIIFlyer Shooting Game
Since i was a child i have been influenced by World War I and World War II and the aerial aspect of both wars. This game is going to be pretty cool because you get to fly in a various types of airplanes to attack your enemies. There are both 1st person and 3rd person shooter aspects to the game. Also the graphics are exceedingly incredible because while you are flying in the fighter airplanes, you can see the ground below you in crystal clear quality. There are many missions where you have to fly over enemy territory and destroy their bases, and targets major weapons like MG42s or missiles. There only problem is that if you are not careful in preciously shooting your targets, you can become a sitting duck do to enemy fighters or bombardments from rockets. All in all this game sounds pretty cool, and i can't wait till it comes out.

Rated 7 out of 10 by Eric Kubelka Great game, poor control scheme.
IL2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey has almost everything you would want in a handheld flying shooter: good graphics, good sound, good story line...and unlimited bullets! However the one thing it lacks is a decent control scheme. The controls are responsive but they lack certain critical features. For instance why did they leave out the ability to roll or yaw the aircraft? This makes it difficult when setting up to strafe targets or moving in for the kill in a dog fight. The controls for Ace Combat to me are the gold standard in terms of mapping aviation controls. They should have included more control options (i.e. functions and control configurations). Overall IL2 Sturmovik is a good game and playing in a WWII environment never gets old.
