Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection
Great, but now lets redo FFVI (III american)
This is one of the better earlier Final Fantasy games, there is no doubt. They should have it down by now as this is the sixth time it has been released in some form or another. But the best one of the first six is definately VI, or III as it was known on the SNES in America. Lets see a full updated remake of that great game with better graphics. Then skip VII if you want, way too much hype anyway, and move on the VIII for the PS3. VIII was a better game anyway to me . Fans have been screaming for the PS1 classics to be remade on PS3 for years now. SquareEnix knows this, so why won't they listen? Whats the hold up? It seems that they are just content with re re re re remaking the same titles over and over again. Make a $99 collector version of VIII and I'll be the first to reserve it!! Come on SquareEnix give the real fans what they want!!!
Ahh back to the good Final Fantasies
this looks like a great game Final Fantasy IV is a great game and I can't wait for this to be realeasec they sould also realeace V VI and III for psp because it seems this is where the best ones are.
3 Games = One Great Price!
DISCLAIMER: Before you buy this know that Interlude took 15 hours to make, but it is only 2-3 hours long there is no exploring just battling.
I haven't played any of the after years tales other then Ceodore's and Edge's on the Wii. I've been playing the original game of Final Fantasy IV but I don't know if it's just me but it seems the difficulty has been toned down a bit up until now the only hard boss was the archfiend on Mt. Ordeals.
Other then this it is a great game and worth the money.
Also there is no Return to Title screen to switch games so you have to exit out of the game and then go back in.
Sounds Good, Just Hoping For More Like It
With this rerelease, this marks the sixth time that Square has put out this game (SNES, PS1, GBA, DS, Wii Virtual Console, and now PSP) in some form or another. By all accounts, this is not exactly my favorite Final Fantasy game, but it does hold a special place in my heart as the first one I actually had a chance to beat (FFVI/III(US) being both my favorite and my first that I had the chance to actually play, watched a friend play a bit of FFI but didn't know it at the time). Now if they'd so kindly do the pleasure of putting out a new rendition of FFVI like this, I might die of happiness.
This classic RPG is a must-play!
Out of all the Final fantasy games, this is definitely one of the better ones. It has one of the best stories and some of the deepest characters to ever be featured in a video game. The plot revolves around Cecil, a deeply conflicted man who feels that he has let himself turn evil by obeying his King's every command. After confronting the king about his guilty conscience, Cecil gets demoted from being captain, to working as a regular dark knight.
Cecil and his best friend, Kain, set out to a village of summoners, where they are to burn down the village. Eventually, Cecil finds out that his girlfriend, Rosa, needs his help, which is pretty much where the adventure begins.
This game is great for many reasons, but the main thing that really shines are the characters. Cecil is eventually faced with a difficult choice that could change his life forever. Kain is conflicted about his love for Rosa, which eventually causes some drama between him and Cecil. Edward, a young prince, is depressed because of a lost loved one, yet he transforms into a brave character (even though his attacks are wimpy).
No matter how old this game is, it will always remain as one of the best RPGs ever. There is so much to do and so many characters to meet. Also, I don't remember there being any blood or very much language. If you are looking for a good RPG, which are so rare to come by these days, you should definitely look into getting this.
Such a Classic!!!
I would consider myself to be a HUGE Square Enix fanboy. They have the absolute best RPG games in history (IN YOUR FACE MARIO)!!!. Final Fantasy IV is quite possibly my favorite in the series, with VI being the other possibility. This remake is truly spectacular. Maybe the graphics and sound could be considered low quality, but hey! that's how it was originally made to be. If you are a FF veteran this is a MUST HAVE! If you are a newcomer, the graphics could be a downer to you, but trust me, this is the best FF game to start with.
This game is awesome. I honestly pre-ordered it as Final Fantasy IV is quite and amazing game and now I don't have to download a ton of After Years stuff on my Wii. For $30 this is a great buy. I gave this game a 10 as it really is one of the best games that is out there to this day. The graphics are slightly improved so that Fusoya doesn't look like sunny side up eggs when he dies which I found entertaining but oh well. If you were a fan of the old Final Fantasy games from the SNES days, this is a greaty buy.
Sweet wheres the new7 for ps3 at?
I guess they're working up to it. so 7 be next in MUST be next in line!!!!? right? hopefull dreamer... ah 6! yes now here we go, we pick up another classic sept it looks alot nicer! 3versions of make a nice story as a final fantasy should have. a lil diffrent as it has a ATB system which makes it a lil difficult keeps ur guys up to par on the health bar. but over all another great classic Final Fantasy thats brought to a lil better potential that old 90's tech just didn't have.
