Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days
This is my first time playing a Disgaea game and it was one heck of a game!
There is some funny moments with the characters, and you can also change the voice dialogue to japanese which I love! (Prefers jsrpg/jrpg games to be in japanese then english, unless the voice acting is very good)
This game is the one to play if your looking to play a game straight to the end for hours and hours. You may think the graphics isn't at all good, but in my view the whole gameplay takes that away and you'll eventually get used to the graphics. There are alot of items you can get + monsters and other characters to add to your team that once you get them stronger can unlock them in this jury like voting place. There are some many things that makes this game fun, the best way to find out how good this game is, is to try it out yourself. Strategy Role Play gamers come one come all and try it out why dont ya?!
gotta love disgaea
oh man if you are like me and by that i mean if you find a game you like and can't put it down once you start? then disgaea is the game for you. dark hero days is a fun challenging game with so many twist's and turn you'll be lucky if your not dizzy afterward. create your own men, pass bills to the senet, run for senet, if a bill fails to pass...well then force it by killing the nay saying one's. this game has it all action, laughs, heartless demons, shockingly demons with hearts....who saw that coming!? all in all this game is a 10 but if you want to study on its wrongs then a solid 9. filled with beautiful spell artwork great voice acting, and oh can't forget endless and i mean endless levels to strip clean of life. the only bad thing i could say about this game is that its a bit level heavy. such as if you try to force a bill that was turned down if your not at least level 45 then your going to die.
The most addicting game I've ever played!
So, from my username you can probably tell that I'm a major fan of Nippon Ichi Software. The Disgaea series is the main reason why that is. Disgaea 2: DHD is still the pinnacle of the Disgaea series for me, even after Disgaea 4 has been released. The central reason why that is, is the portability of Dark Hero Days. With the ability to switch the PSP into sleep mode at will and pick up where you left off is the major selling point of this version over newer entries on the PS3 (which are still loads of fun). I honestly can't think of a negative point to this game, perhaps besides how addicting it is! Even the level-grinding is made fun. Perhaps that's because of the beautiful sprite style or the astounding OST. Overall, this game has probably enjoyed the most time in my PSP's UMD slot.
Cool!! An improved Disgaea 2?
This Disgaea 2 version for the psp is more then just your average painted over remake. If you have data from the first one you can unlock a few new classes for more extra gameplay for your dollar. At the price it is releasing at this game should be an good seller. The Disgaea 2 for PS2 was very good but 55 new stages and an new alternate storyline for the game adds more value along with the new features from disgaea 3. The fact that you can have characters from the 3rd one in this game is another plus in an ever growing hype for this game. The stuff I saw on this game and found while wandering the net makes me want to purchase this game even more. This is a must have if your a disgaea fan!! I hope this releases soon and I hope this delivers an abng for that overlord in you!! This is an wonderful title with better features now!! have an great experience!! See ya!!
A humorous tactical rpg for the hardcore gamer
Simply put this game is the perfect choice for a tactics based rpg for the psp, it's got a great story with several different endings and game take a lot of investing to beat. You won't beat this game in 20 hours, in fact, because of he extra content it took me about 50 hours to beat both stories and even past my 50 hours i currently have 80+ hours clocked in on the game and my highest character is a lvl 1064, the level cap is 9999. I still have a lot of work to do.
Disgaea has always been my favorites SRPG, and this one is the best yet. It has DLC, tons of extra playable characters, a new skill for each weapon, and the new PETA spells that further magic damage possibilities. And better yet, it is portable! So on those long trips somewhere this will keep you entertained for hours on end, I definitely recommend!
