Rated 10 out of 10 by TimeToTurn Dead Or Alive Paradise is one of the best psp games
When i first heard that DOA was going to be on the psp I thought that someone was playing a joke. But I just got this game today and it is amazing. The graphics are stunning for a psp game. And i love how it is in english insted of all the voices being in japanese. It always anoyed me when you couldent understand what they were saying. I road my bike 4 miles to the gamestop in easton to get this game. it was well worth the trip. The only reason i didnt rate everything a 10 was cause i havent finished the game yet but so far it is the best game i have played on the psp so far. I think anyone that is a fan of the DOA series should get this game. I have bean counting down the days till this game finaly hit shelves. I am so glad i finaly got it. So in short get the game It is very fun and i dont think you will regret it.

Well...When I got my Xbox 360, Dead Or Alive Xtreme 2 was the third game I bought. I love the DOA series and when I saw that game I was like YAY!!! FUN IN THE SUN WITH WATER SLIDES AND POOL HOPPING!!!!!!!! Xtreme 2 was fun after the first couple days but then it got old real quick. I actually barely play it anymore. The achievements are very hard to get in the game.. Actually quite impossible. I stayed up for thee days straight just to do a test to see if I COULD get any and I only managed to get two with my two favorite characters. Tina of course because shes blonde like me and Kokoro because shes Japanese and to cute for her own good. I will not ever try for the other achievements...But I'm probably one of the few people that have at least 40/1000 in that game XD When I found out DOA Paradise was coming to the PSP I was kinda speechless... In a way I think its cool but then again I wouldn't really feel comfortable playing this in public on my PSP. I wouldn't want people to think I'm a lesbian.... lol The game I think might do so-so...Why I think that is... It would be fun of-course playing it on a different console and trying out the new character Rio but I think just like Xtreme 2, you'll get bored real quick and lose interest. From what Paradise reads it looks like there are no new mini games added. Once you played one mini game, you played them all. I would probably buy it if something new was added other then being able to listen to your own music.

Players are experiencing over 300 hours of game time to collect and unlock everything. 300 hours? That is quite awhile. Though I don’t have that kind of time I found a few things about this game that actually convinced me to buy despite the lack of info by stores (even Gamestop). There are so many secrets to unlock and combinations that can be played that really makes this game worthwhile. There are more features than the casino, volleyball and pool hopping. Others that aren’t listed include: Beach Flag race, the pool Butt Battle, a unlock able character, a slot machine you must figure out how to turn on and even more I’m sure. A nice feature is being able to play your own Mp3’s in place of the games own music. Probably the best thing I’ve found is that each of the characters has more conservative clothing, some even look like they came from the 50’s! So you can cover them up as much or as little as you want to. Lets face it, its portable. What’s the point of a portable system? To take it where you console can’t go and be entertained in the process. Its portable! Got a few minutes waiting at the airport? Maybe on the plane? Even a quick game is fun and I’ve found the PSPgo (not sure if the regular PSP has this) is the pause feature where you can pause the game and continue anytime later, even if you turn the PSP off. The interface is simple and easy to navigate and the mini games themselves are only as complicated as you make it. Taking pool hopping for example involves getting your character across the pool by jumping from one floating platform to another. Now some of these are spaced further than others so by quickly pushing a button makes the character jump a step or holding the button makes them jump further. Simple enough, as one button can get you character across in no time. However, the platforms have symbols matching the four different buttons on the controller so pressing the correct button for the platform with a short or long hold becomes much more difficult then include the bonuses for pushing them in the right order and then another bonus for getting the timing right can lead to some intense hand eye coordination exercise! Now ad a pool hopping partner and try to get those symbols matched and beat them across… no easy task! The point is, there is more to this game than looking at digital girls in bikini’s, a lot more!
