Crash of the Titans
When I bought this game I was so excited, and I had very high hopes toward this game. and it delivered. This game is sort of similar to the crash games of the ps1and ps2, but better graphics.GREAT storyline, and very fun to play. I love the crash games more then the spryo games. the challenge is alright, and it could get a little difficult at times, but you will get through it. The sound is perfect, and the interface is also perfect. this game will probably be one of my favorite psp games of all time. I traded in my marvel nemeisis: rise of the imperfects for the psp, for this crash game. It was definetly worth it and i didn't regret is because this game is far more entertaining then the previous game I owned. All in all I would definetly recommend this game to any psp owner.
this game i hope is going to be a very big game for crash because the crash series is won of the best easily
A dissapointment to the Crash Genre
Crash wrath of cortex and the other ps1/ps2 origionals are hands down on my top 20 games of all times. I rarely give a 10 to every attribute of games, but I did for each of those. This one is not the same. The classic looney toon nature of those games is gone. Now it’s the modern 3d world, with dumb voice acting, dumb jokes, and in general it’s just a dumb game.
On a high note, this game has co op. Allowing kids to play with there friends, or siblings. But the classic ones you can simply take turns on.
The fighting is simple, easy to pick up, perfect for kids, but boring for hardcore, or even casual gamers.
The story… I got about 3 hours into it and had to give up because I was so bored. Yes I’m 22, I enjoy very realistic and complex games. But for kids, I feel like it’s a shame from the classic. Then again cartoons now days are completely different then what I used to watch.
One thing I did note is that theres a few things to work towards, things to collect and such. And not just the typical currency coins that drop off the bad guys upon death. The game forgot to keep an active objectives list, or missions on a map of some sort. What’s this mean? You need to have a great memory. When you hear them explain what you need for the mission, if you forget, you will have a hard time finding where it is, and how ur supposed to do it. At times it felt like they were side quests, but it was so undescriptive I didn’t pay attention, and spent almost a half hour trying to find it.
In the end, for kid gamers I would barely recommend this game. Everyone else, I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
