Amazing!
It truly is! The game will leave you wanting your mother to tuck you in. I really enjoyed this game, it pulled me in. I finished it in about a week. The puzzles are complex enough, and the art is gory, mesmerizing, and quite lovely in a strange way. They are detailed, and the story line is kind of confusing at times-- ex. Ayumi and Sachiko are related? -- but it's worth the 20 bucks.

Excatly what I expected, and that's a good thing!!
Great game. Survival horror with a bit of an old school RPG look. Reminded me very much of the great anime "Another". The game is for those who enjoy horror themed games, with a dark atmosphere, and some puzzle solving. The cut scenes are typical anime and look great. I highly recommend this game for those looking for an unusual gaming experience. Loved the game!

Horrifically Brilliant
This game is a great game to play if you are seeking a thrill. It tests the mind into remembering things so that you can affect what happens within the story as it unfolds. The sound for this game also surpasses many titles for the psp and adds to a feel of realism. And although the graphics are severely lacking for a psp game, it's well defined in the places that matter, or rather the places meant to give you chills. As some of the pixels are detailed to look very disturbing, the art work in cut scenes are also amazing for an anime-based horror game.

A Great Horror Game That the PSP Needed
Lets get something out the way first: This is not a kid's game. If reading the description of the game isn't enough for you to understand that, then that's on you. Now, for the review - Gameplay: Corpse Party: Blood Covered is a horror game. Being as such, there are puzzles; in fact the game itself is a puzzle told through the characters in each chapter, until it all comes together at the end. There are various endings for each chapter; only one allows you to proceed to the next chapter. The story is a tragic one, and events that you don't see are left to the imagination, being VERY detailed in the text and sounds. Graphics: Yes, the game uses retro 2D graphics and occasional anime-style images for events. Graphics do not define how good a game is, and given the nature of this game I'm sure you'd be happier not seeing anything more detailed than the images. There are times where the you won't see anything during events, as these are left to the imagination, and are better off as that. Sound: Word of warning - for the love of god be careful if using headphones. Yes, the screams are that loud. Events where you can't see anything allows the sounds to give you "that feeling" as you read, your brain well knowing what must be going on. The music for the game is also well done. Lasting Appeal: Having multiple endings for each chapter, as well as collecting the name tags of past students, you'll be at this game for a while. No doubt you'll have trouble getting through the first chapter when you begin. And once you finally do beat it, you can play through it again and understand events better. Also, there is a sequel in Japan (Book of Shadows) which adds a few things to further add to the story.
