When I first popped this into my PSP, I was a little unsure if it was any good. This is pretty decent. At first when you play it'll get kind of bored though when you get to start to feel the rush, and when you finally to shoot animals. Some levels will be difficult and might take longer than others. Though the price was good for this. It has good game play, fantastic sound effects and pretty good graphics for a PSP game.
The only problem I have with this game is that you cannot pick your gun, and that you are sometimes lost to the point hen you have to start all over again. Though this game is really fun and exciting so I recommend this to anyone who loves to hunt and have a fun time passing the time, like a car ride, or just when you want to relax on the couch and have a good time. The other previous reviews might have said it was bad, though to me it is pretty good. But this is my first Cabela hunting game, so I don't what the other games are like.
Though this game is still fun and if you don't have much cash on you, you should get this.
Rated 1 out of 10 by PSPReviewer Think twice before buying
I made a mistake buying this game. After playing Cabela's Dangerous Hunts on the PS2, i thought that i would like it even better on the PSP. I was wrong. This is not a good game. Instead of choosing your own weapons and the region to hunt, you are given these two things which doesn't allow you the "freedom" to choose what you want. The regions are not good at all, and you cannot pick your own gun. The guns the game leaves you are not the ones you want to be hunting bears or lions with. This does not give you the freedom you want and need in a Cabela game. Graphics are not good, and the storyline just flatout sucks, if you want to shoot stuff, buy a war game or something. Personally, i liked the bullet camera, and i was very disappointed to find out that it wasn't in this game. This game definitely does not satisfy, and please keep your money.
