amazing for psp
its really cool for psp i loved it. good gameplay good as the other ape escapes. i loved it for my psp, really cool.
i bought this online thinking this was difrent but turns out its the same thing as the first ape escape but with a new name
ACTULY IT WAS PRETTY GOOD
this game was one of the PSP games i ever had i thought it would be stupid and have no good arts in it but i was wrong. The game was not very hard at all but it makes after about 3 months it makes you want to play it agiain. The graphics in the game are not very good but there not suppose to be good but one time you are in a snowy mountain type place and the graphics looked awesome. The game is kinda long and kinda short at the same time. The game story line is about a kid who is trying to collect all these monkeys and bring them back because they are taking over places. The controls are easy like one time you get a blue sword and you press square to hit the monkeys and circle to get a net and capture them. I recommend this game kind dove but if you just got a PSP and have never played a game yet this should be your first choice
sony game revamp?
If you are like me, you were really disappointed when you realized that the psp couldn't play Ape Escape due to the lack of two joysticks. I was quite furious. Then Sony answered my prayers with the release of Ape Escape: On The Loose...and it was everything i was waiting for. The game was exactly like i remembered it, right down to the levels being unedited. In fact, the only complaint i actually found in this game was the that voice acting was nowhere near as good as in the original, though not really that big a deal. Overall, I would gladly recommend this game to anyone who at one point has played the original, or to any person who has never heard of the series and is looking for a game with easy to pick up and play-abilities, a storyline that is unlike any I have ever seen before, (not counting other Ape Escape sequels.) and in all some of the most unique gadgets in the history of monkey hunting.
Classic gone remix
If any of you were like me, then you were quite disappointed when you found out that you couldn't play Ape Escape, on the PSP due to the lack of 2 joysticks. Well, Sony answered my prayer to take this on the go when they made On the Loose. I mean, it plays very well, considering it has a completely new control system...and is very fun and easy for people of all ages to pick up and play. The only complaint i actually could find with this game is that i didn't really like the voice acting...which in reality, is not to big a problem. The storyline stayed true to the original even down to the stages being non-edited, it was exactly how i remember playing it many years ago. I would gladly recommend this game to anybody who played the PSX version and enjoyed playing it, or even to somebody who has never even heard of the series, due to its solid gameplay, easy to learn controls, and a storyline unique to any game I have seen since.
