Air Conflicts: Aces of World War II
Air Conflicts : Aces of World War II is a great game. You play as the British Royal Air Force, The German Lufwafee, Soviet Union, and the United States in which every side has their own storline. It has great sound, like when you bomb something or dive. Really good graphics give it realistic planes. This game has a great challenge for somebody, incredible dogfoghts, stratigic bombing, and more. The only bad thing for me is that it has really, really hard landing, you have to go in smooth or your plane crashes and explodes. You are the pilot and you control the plane . Your plane is usually equiped with machine guns, bombs, and rockets. It has great multiplayer battles in which you can take part of. This game has some historical battles which are great. If you like airplanes, war aircraft, or flight, this would be a great game game for you. PSP owners, you should buy this game.
One of the best PSP games so far!!!!
I bought this hoping it would be as good as the ace combat games, needless to say I was pleasantly surprised! I think this is the best flight sim for PSP. You get to play as either one of the 3 allied force countries (England, Russia or U.S.) or the axis country of Germany. Each country either has 3 or 4 different campaigns with each having several missions to complete that follow a story line specific to that country. Not only does each country have 3 stock aircraft (1 fighter, 1 fighter/bomber and 1 bomber) but if you perform exceptionally well on one of the missions a special "test" aircraft becomes available for the rest of the campaign. Basically it's that countries first operational jet aircraft. The game has great replay value with 4 levels of difficulty that make it very challenging. Another aspect I liked was the tracking of your performance and awarding rank and medals based on same, it reminded me of by gone days of playing the old RED BARON games on PC. I would have given this game all 10's if only the aircraft could perform barrel rolls and loops. It doesn't really detract from the game but would have been a nice touch, oh well that's what sequels are for. If you like flight sims and long for the days of RED BARON combat get this game you won't be disappointed.
