Rated 4 out of 5 by from Collection Worthy This is one of the better things from Sony, and it has a lot of stuff that tells you it's worthy of being in your video game collection. I personally have the PSP 3000 series, but the 2000 is just like the 3000 (and it's also easier to mod and use as a whole.) If your into retro or modern gaming, this is the way to go, as the graphics are great (and their similar to the PS2, the best selling console in the world.) I personally go after gameplay, though, and the PSP packs plenty of it, with over 852 games (not including the minis,) you'll have plenty to play. You'll find some PlayStation Exclusives on the PSP (LittleBigPlanet, Killzone, and God of War just to name a few) as well as some noteworthy ports, along with EVERYONE'S favorite collection of PS/PS1 games. The only downfall is that there is only 1 analog stick, so playing PS/PS1 games that take 2 analogs and PS2 games is out. Another design flaw is that your hand will cramp if you have to claw for using BOTH the analog and the d-pad at the same time. The screen is not a touch (it came out in 2005, touch screens where reserved for iPods and iPhones) so the screen might scratch or smudge if you touch it. Despite all the flaws pointed out above, I will say the systems durable, as I've dropped my PSP several times on hard surfaces and it STILL works. Just don't drop it in water.
